"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

here's the situation
we dated for a few months. she always liked this guy, they dated for a few months too but he lost interest. this was a year ago, and she never completely got over him. but when he got together with someone else she "seriously will try to get over him now"

then we started hanging out, and we were really hitting it off. i really never understood if she got over him. but they had some drama and got in a fight. good for me, ya know? but when the guy and his girl broke up, he kept saying he wanted a gf. i never really asked her out, as i was planning for her to initiate the "talk." hmmm...?

then when me n my girl were hanging out one time i guess i did a little too much kino cuz she got kinda freaked out and told me. then the old guy started makign a move on her, and she started to talk to me less and less and felt weird around me while she and the guy is beginning to rise in interest level.

so basically, what do i do now?
senior year is approaching. summer is here. what can i do to get her off my mind for now? and what can i do to reraise her interest level for later? and i was planning this summer to be better. like more organized, more responsible, more of everything, trying to change.
and this is terrible timing. i feel like crap. and i dont think i can focus for a while. i dunno what to do because i want to set myself straight and go for my goals for the summer.

thanks.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

*sigh*

Dude, there's loads of women out there. Why get so hung up on this one? "spin some plates" as Rollo Tommasi'd say.

find new girls. if she really likes you then she'll initiate contact again, but don't let her get to you so easily.

Pursuing a new girl will do three good things for you. 1) Help you get over her. 2) If this girl knows that other girls are after you, then it will make you more attractive to the one you want. 3) Success with another girl will make you more confident (attractive to the girl you want).

Another good bit of advice to is act like you don't care. I was told this by someone I'd consider a Don Juan.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
