"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Get the hell away from her! she's going to eventually bring you down and she's not worth it. It may be hard but for your own good leave her and find someone normal. Unless you like the drama or watever it's not your duty to save her ass from bouncin. Even if she doesn't kill herself your relationship with her will be f(cked up. Cut off ALL CONTACT and DON'T LOOK BACK.

what makes you think she would actually harm herself?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I see this from a different angle than the other DJ's...

This girl may need you and for all we know, you may love her?

IF and ONLY IF you do in fact love this girl, than stick through it. A great friend of mine, he's actually a doctor... He married a woman that was severe bi-polar and OCD. No matter what the problems she has mentally, the woman is gorgeous!

Aside from that, she loves him unconditionally only for one reason, he's the one and only man that can physically take care of her. Stick through it if you care about her bro, in all reailty you may need eachother.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Don't listen to this shiat. You don't love her. Her parents already know she's suicidal, that's her problem and theirs to deal with as parents. You are nobody. Cut off romantic contact.

From a dude who has dated nothing more then rocker-gothic girls i seing these so many times is not even funny.

IS all bs.
Simple.

One of my ex'es did the same thing, tried to drown herself in her bathtub and was sent to one of the psychiatric places*too bad she was so hot* we broke up soon after that and she said she was going to commit suicide i told her i coulnt be there for her anymore that she was dragging me down with her , long story short she texted me saying oh im going to kill myself but dude look at the facts the majority of girls who commit suicide in the US is way less then guys. Shes bluffing, shes just being an emo drama queen, she will cry her ass off and move on, eventually hate you but at least you moved on and you shoulnt be stuck with no crazed ***** no matter how hott.

BTW that was a long while ago i saw her again the other day i decided to aproach her and see what happend with her life, shes now in the drama club with a very promising career in films, shes got straight a's and loves the film jig and has another bf shes in love with. They move on and use there emoness in other fields.

Most rocker chicks i dated had being either emo or a little in the flip side crazy, and way kinky. Is my thing what can i say but mostly those are the ****ed up ones so i know a little on how to deal with there emo attitude.

Seriously i have tried these almost everytime, being there for her and really if you dont want to wake up every night to hear some horrible depressing story about retarded things you should move on. Your life and DJ skills depend on them, because she will drag you down wheter you like it or not if you follow these advise. If there parents cant help her or doctors chances are some 16year old bf isnt going to help her either.

Ouch, stay away from this girl!

How did you meet her in the first place?!

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

If she mentions it, berate her for how selfish it would be, how you could never cause so much pain to your friends and family that way, and just think it's weak and pathetic.

She won't bother you with any more drama-queen bullsh*t.

Alright well shes not 51/50 anymore i think but seeing her today was depressing i mean, it sounds pretty **** but it doesn't affect my life cause she was never more than a hook up to me, i saw she was troubled and i helped her with that, her parents thanked me. I think sometimes you gotta look at it and thats what i did, i could have ****ed this girl up even more she was ready to have me be her first. Theres alot more going on in these girls lives, now thats not to say ive stopped im still ****ing over girls, i just practice spitting game to every girl and i learn what works and doesn't and gives me confidence for when i really wanna close the deal, cause i havn't met the one thats worth giving the rest up for. But just keep in mind this so called "dj" behavoir effects girls more than you think.

That said i have no attachment to her or any of that **** so don't tell me to not stick with her cause ill be there for her as a friend cause i don't want anything else. Call if afc if you knew what you were talking about you'd understand.

and to all who offered real advice, thanks.

This happened with me and a chick. She became crazily attached to me, then a few days later she's contemplating suicide for whatever reason. At this point I swore I was not getting involved with this girl, even though we both were crazy over eachother (harder than you think, because it was so obvious we had this amazing connection and I kept trying to divert it from going that way).
She'd keep wanting to be around me though, and I'd try to help, but my advice was usually "I think that from what you've said this is a pretty serious thing and you need to talk to someone who knows what they're doing about this stuff." The fact is, I wanted to help, but I knew that I couldn't let this bring me down too much. She got some stuff sorted out, and I didn't talk to her much for a while. From then on, slowly she's been getting better I think, but for a long time she was in that state where she's probably being overdramatically pessimistic. I guess you could say "attention *****," so I did what I thought would help: didn't respond to it, let her know that at some point people aren't going to care about your complaining, even if you were suicidal a year ago. Now, finally, she's getting much better and I'm hanging out with her a bit more.

A lot of these guys take this DJ stuff and twist it to a whole new level of self-centeredness and selfishness. What would a DJ really do? I think he would be there for some support but would not be the crying shoulder or the attention-giver. When people are legitimately depressed, you definately should go out of your way to make sure they see the right people. Avoid being the person who's filling the gap. Usually, at some point after the major depressive episode, people are bound to become attention *****s for a while. At that point, feel free to back away, they may even realize that their complaining is unwanted when you do so. Until then, though, don't be a jackass.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
