"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

First, sorry if my English is a little confusing :)

My story started around February, when I was dating this cute girl (let's call her Lucy). A month later, a guy who've been purchasing her before me asked her one more time to be his GF (he was rejected before). And she accepted him. This puzzled me because it's clear that she really liked me. I later heard that John said he will move to other country with his dad if he's rejected. Maybe this made her symphatize towards him?

A day later I sent her an e-mail saying thank you for all the memories. The point was actually to remind her about all the nice memories and what a loss it was to lose me. She said she was speechless when she read that e-mail.

I said, forget it, your status doesn't mean that we can't hang out once in a while. I heard there'll be a food festival next week. She said: "Let's go there!". So we went there and had a great time. That's when I really realized that I like her so much, and she's thinking the same too, judging by her body language and such.

So weeks gone by and we still communicate sometimes via text msg, IM, and letters, but we never met eachother. At this point I heard from friends that she looks like she have a lot of problems on his mind and she often cries at night. And her relationship with the BF wasn't too happy. I wonder if it's because the realization that we like each other but can't be together. Because I think like that all days.

So I arrange a get together because I know we miss each other a lot. That week, we went out twice. Once again, we had a great time. After that, I also told her that his BF better not know about this because I don't want to make him sad. She agreed.

A week gone by, and for the whole week, it seems that we only like each other more. We texted often. Maybe some of you think that text messaging is bad, but so far it doesn't hurt my game.

Now here comes the interesting part. Two days ago, I received a message from an unknown number. It goes like this:

"Good evening, is this Fela Kuti? I'm feeling really guilty towards you. I think I've done a mistake that will make a big impact to you. Would you forgive me? Well, what can I do. Maybe you will always linger on my mind for the rest of my life. Haha. You know what, I suffer from stress! Oh well, I think I better sleep to help reducing this guilty feeling. But before that, I'm gonna watch Spacetoon first. I heard there's a good program at 8."

That last sentence is a hint that it was her because the day before I told her about this Spacetoon program. Then I replied like this: (still "in character")

"Well, just pray to God that you will be shown the solution. Now sleep if you want to. Good night. I miss you too. Hahaha."

The morning after, I felt that my reply was not serious enough. I should've picked up on her hints. So I sent her a text, to her real number this time, and being the real me.

"Good morning, Lucy. I hope your feeling is as bright as this morning's sunshine. Don't stress yrself too much, alright? I know why you're feeling guilty. But you've made your decision. Regreting it for too long won't do any good. Want to talk? Maybe it'll make u feel better."

She replied:
"Good morning! How do you know it was me? If I didn't give you any clue, would you knew? Hehe."

Me:
"Because I'm a detective. But too bad my detective skill isn't good enough to get 100% of what you meant last night. I think I need an explanation straight from the person."

Her:
"Alright, I'll explain to you. Wait for the 'premiere'. Hahaha."

----------------

So, what do you think? Did I handle this right? What is her reason for that mysterious text message? What should I do next? Thanks!

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I'm hearing 'I am bored messing you around now but want to ease my conscience and keep you friendly. But you're not getting any p*ssy, ok?'

What you should do is move on. What you should've done is f*ck her real good.

Why should I move on if there's still something between us. It's not over yet. Okay, let's just wait what her explanation will be.

It says it in the text.. she played you. That's why she's feeling guilty. And now you're just fooling yourself.
you'll see in due time my friend, they just like to keep you around like a little puppy to make em selves feel good.

Do whatever you want, but learn something from it.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

but i'm the one she really loves. and she accepted that guy just out of pity. and...

okay okay, i'll stop. thanks for the advice. maybe i'll update the situation once she finally tell her story.

btw, imo you can't really say that she plays me. because it's her who suffers from stress and cries all night thinking about me. while I just go with the flow.

Guys, she finally broke up with his bf yesterday. What should I do now? Make a move or just wait for her to act first? Btw, she told my friends that she likes me. And my friends told her I like her too. Damn, those monkeys.

Thanks.

Dude...you're analyzing everything. Just let it go. You want the girl? Ask her out. You like a girl? Make a move.
