"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

yeah but what would be a good line to go up to her since we are 2 years apart and have no friends in common. its weird cause i think she knows who i am but shes really hot . what could i say to make me not seem like a stalker. cause im sick of not being able to approach. like i feel like the whole world is watching me and i feel horrible afterwards not doing it

Do you like her only because she's "hot"? Thats your first problem. You shouldnt like a girl based on her looks. What if she's a total bimbo? or you share no interest? You already said you dont have any of the same friends, and you're worried about the age difference, so dont even bother asking her out. You already blew it.

yeah but we are both in track and i thought the whole goal is to meet hot girls

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Your goal as a Don Juan is to live life the it's absolute fullest and enjoy everything you do. A Don Juan does what he wants, when he wants. And to top it off, if he's a good Don Juan, he gets it.

You should not just concentrate on one girl at a time. If you wanna hang out with this girl, that's cool, but don't obsess. Just one day when she's walking alone, walk up next to her and start a convo. Then you get the number close and a date for Friday night. If she says no, who gives a ****!? It's all about you, and your good time and it's her loss.

Get it?

stfu woman..

adam.. dont listen to what luvmyarmyman had said... she's a woman.. don't take advice for women from women or you'll be screwed.. she's turning you into an AFC.

and yes.. bein a DJ is to enjoy life.. have as much fun as possible.. and maximize ur chances with girls.. so just flirt with as many girls as possible.. and dont worry if u dont know her yet.. jus talk to her and have fun with it.. who cares if she has a *****y personality? u wont know without gettin to know her.. so likin her for bein hot is not a stupid reason at all. for all u kno she could be a great girl.

It looks to me like you are saying that the goal of running track is to meet hot girls.

Hah, I dunno but to me that would be the obvious one. Find out whatever event she does and talk to her about it. I dunno just say something like, "Hey that was a nice jump" "Hi i'm so and so" . Or whatever comes out of your mouth, I'm not really a linguist.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

You're both in track?

Next time you're in the halls, just say hey, and when she responds, ask her if she's in track. This is a stupid, ridiculous question just to get you two to say at least something to each other. If you can't think of anything else to say at that point, bail out by saying you're late for class, but you'll catch her at practice.

It's not that hard, man. If you consider that in 4 years, you won't remember anyone from highschool and they won't remember you, I can't see what's holding you back.

u could wait untill u have a meet. and then before she is about to race/jump/throw u could walk by her somewhere and just say good luck. or after she is done with one of her events u could say good job and give her a high five or a slap on the shoulder. If u do this one or two times and then go up and talk to her at practice it would make the situation seem a lot less awkward.

Well, i've in this situation before (somewhat, it was tennis instead of track) It's easy, just walk up to her and talk to her about how she ran/will run. Talk to her about school. Hel! theirs an endless amount of things you could talk about. Use your wit, and that pile of slush we like to call a brain, you'll figure something out.

Remember: Just talk to her!....Honestly what's stopping you!?
