What should you do if the girl your into starts telling you about her problems at home? I know you're not supposed to be her therapist but then what are you supposed to do?

I wonder why nobody has responded to you yet.Doesnt matter I will be happy to be the first.

1.At the begining be nice and calm, all that girls one is security,PROVIDE IT!
2.If you can,try to cheer her up,try to tell her she is over these problems and she can get over them.
3.Don't go against her parents' words,I mean don't do anything they wont like. You want (I suppose) to give her the best.Don't try to confront her with her parents(if you want to extinguish fire , you use water, but not burn all the woods)
4.If the situation is not getting better leave her.It is rude but it will be the best thing for you.IF you fail to make the things better juet leave them to get worse and worse,,, but out of your sight :)

I hope mu post is not very obscure.

Ahh...well, if she's hating home and wants to get out and spend time with someone, I think I'd take her out on a little date?

Be careful though, it's a Red Flag for her to have home problems, because they transfer into Depression and Attitude Changes.

As for her talking to you about it, take a listen, but don't tell her what to do, listen and move onto something completely unrelated...preferably towards interest raising crap.

ok, youre right i think
shes kinda wierd and i can tell that she doesnt really know what she wants... i think its best to let her be for now, but the only thing is that she keeps on flirting with me and idk what to do. Ive asked her out twice and both times she said yes and both times she flaked and yet the next day in class shell be rubbing her damn leg up against mine and giving me every look possible. I just dont get it

yeah, the only problem is that i dont drive, and neither does she, we are both 16 and none of us have our licenses yet... a good idea, but idk how it can work for me unless i have a friend drive us. i dont really like that idea tho b/c no friends should go on first dates, they just get in the way. Any other ways of avoiding her flaking and should i even attempt again after she flaked out twice. Should i say anything to her? Its pretty hard to forget about her when shes rubbing me up in class everyday.

MOOOOVE ON, being used here bro... youre he "good friend" riiight?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Too much can be bad. It'd become like your duty to cheer her up. IMHO she just needs someone to talk to about anything. PS2 might help (or whatever chicks play).

Go on a double date with a mutual(or any) friend who drives, or meet her at a party some time. TELL her this only once, if she flakes again, ignore her.
