"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Anyway theres this girl from class, lets call her Lina.

First day of class, she hits on me with some story she made up, introduced each other and we exchanged #s.

She called a couple times to ask about hw she didnt understand, her english isnt perfect. I called her up once to ask also. Funny thing is when i tried to get a conversation going, she'd usually say she'd have to go. And she doesnt call anymore.

But lately the past few weeks, when she comes in to class she ends up sitting next to me. I greet her and treat her like a friend, she does too. Even when im with my buddy talking about whatever, we usually end up pulling her into the convo...well she wants to i can tell. We joke and have fun kidding around in class actually. me her and my friend.

Often i'd catch her looking at me as if in a trance or something, especially if im talking to my friend or if im critiquing work in class.
She's pretty friendly with everyone in class.

Do i ever kino her? nope. what do i know about her? absolutely nothing, except her name. Well for sure i have pretty damn good rapport with her.

The funny thing is i never was interested in her. Looks, she's like a 6.5 probably. And the oddest thing happened, i realized today i actually enjoy her company...it's like the more someone's around you the more you grow fond of them. And what's also been on my mind these past 2 days is her! wtf!

Ask her out? im confused.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Dear god man .... how many times do people need to say it on here ? - all you gotta do is just ask her for her #, call her in a few days and ask her out ... simple as that ...

You better get use to this if you ever plan on being successful with women .... the number close is the easiest part of it all :D

Sure, ask her out. You never know what might ensue.

You might be very surprised by the quality of the relationship that might ensue. On the other hand, if not, well, what will you have lost?

As the girl is not an 8 to 10, she might be very unsure about her attractiveness and fears to be rejected by you. Ask her to come with you to a pub for the happy hour on Friday.

I suggest that you don't work to establish a "confortable friendship". Target to get into her panties instead. She'll probably welcome it.

Good luck and have fun.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
