I know a person can get stupid from watching too much TV, but I never really believed one could get dumber by watching a specific show. I stand corrected. Every day at 6 PM, my mom veggs out to a complete hour of pointless bìtching coming from two spoiled teenagers who don't know what real problems are.

Every time I go into the living room between 6 and 7 pm, I actualy leave feeling stupider. It's the same old mind-rot bullshìt over and over again, every fvcking day! I can't stand it any longer. Actually, I hate the entire Woman's network, since all it is is a bunch whiny soap operas full of pvssy-whipped men and domineering c0ckteasing bìtches. I'll shoot myself before I watch (or listen to) another episode of the Shopping Bags or equivalent pile of stale horseshìt.

Anyone with me on this?

Oh fvck you have no idea, I refuse to watch any shows like this drivel so you can imagine I dont watch many Programmes.

And this Gilmore girls? give me strength, just goes to show how decayed and totally misguided men and women have become where watching these 2 spoilt ****s and the mind numbing banter exchanged between them and the emasculated things that look like men is actually classed as entertainment. It is honestly soul destroying and there is no better word to describe this nonsense other than disgusting.

Why are you even watching theis crap anyways!! The only thing I watch on TV these days is live sports and the occasional Mythbusters/ Emeril. At least I learn something

We have the OC as well (in Canada), but I never saw it. From what I heard, though, it's about a bunch of rich kids and what they think are problems.

I watch about 30 minutes of TV a week. Every now and then, if something catches my attention. But I know more people than I can count who stare at the tube for 3, 4 hours nonstop. WHY??? It's not interesting, not productive, you just get fat and stupid. Do they wanna become another middle-class fat unsuccessful loser? But that's what TV does - it teaches you not to think (at least during the time you're watching it). I'd rather read a book.

same here! I haven't watched MTV in a long time. MTV is for young kids that are trying to be cool (high school). Once you reach a little bit of maturity (college) you realize MTV is a piece of crap that is meant to kill braincells like most of the stuff on the zombie tube.

I miss the days where they had intelligent TV. The only thing I watch regularly is football, everything else is sh!t. And in regards to MTV, I'm fortunately old enough to remember what it used to be.

Nowadays, I prefer my books.

LOL are you talking about the Mythbusters where they blow up (at least) one thing per episode, even though it has no scientific relevance to their experiment at all?

Haha that's a hilarious show. Although you gotta question some of their scientific methods.
