"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I love drinking :)

anyways I dont know what to get her for her b day.

so here is what I came up with..a promise ring and....IM JK im not that fycking sappy.

so I decided a card from Hallmark from the new love section and a gift card from Victoria Secret..maybe 40-50 bucks???

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I dont think getting her a card and making a personal one and a 50 dollar gift card and going out to eat is cheap.

hey fri,is this the same girl that you said in one of my threads that you only talk to her once a day? cause for 2 months i think that yall should talk more than once a day...but anyway.

I didnt know yall were going out for dinner, it sounds good then.

A $50 gift card

A B-day card with some words to the heart written bu you to her

Dinner (i believe you paying for it correct?)

Thats good, although to finish it off you should give her some dik at the end of the night. thats a most too.

As long as it's presented in a pretty bag and has a ribbon on it, chicks will love anything.

It's not the gift that's important.
It's the presentation.

Chicks are suckers for 'pretties'

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

My gf's birthday is on sunday. I don't think I'm getting her anything. We dated a month and have been exclusive a month after that.

I have this rule where i don't buy presents for "present giving" holidays because it's ridiculous that i'm EXPECTED to give things. It just creates undue pressure and creates threads like these. I'd rather give random presents when i feel like it out of the blue so they're big surprises and stuff. I also tell people not to buy me things for holidays either.

My mom won't listen and is like "whatever" though she doesn't get crap from me on xmas, etc.

I told my gf about this a while ago and her response was "YES! YES!" and was all happy about it. Pressure off her too :)

No one wants most of the crap people give as presents anyway. I'd rather surprise people out of no where with free tickets to things or something i happened upon i thought she'd really like rather than whatever crap i managed to throw together for a birthday or vday because i'm "supposed to."
