"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I've mentioned this before a few weeks ago. My gf constatly says "why do u know that?" whenever we go out and i say some sort of info that i know. It's not even that obsure usually, soemtimes its just normal stuff that isnt weird to know at all.
And it annoys the hell out of me, cuz everybody knows wat they know, why is that weird? She says boring **** to me all the time, should i just start doin it back to her and make her feel stupid? At first it was cute, but last night i said something totally normal, and she said "why do u know that" like i was so weird. And i told her, "why shouldn't i know that, i aint apoligiizng for knowing sh*t. I forgot i'm supposed to pretend im ignorant when im with u"

And she says "why r u going out with me then, i wont ask u anything anymore."

Can u believe this? I ended up having to apoligize. I love how they turn it around. There was another thing too last night. We were at a restaurant and there was a picture of a map from the 1700's on the wall over our table. I looked at it for a sec to try and figure out where ny was. She says sarcastically "u studying ur history map" As if it was dorky, (cuz she knows i like history)

Should i drop this girl? I really like her normally but then she does stuff like this which i find disrespecful and idiotic. What should i do dump her, or jsut try to see if i can put my foot down and see if she changes first?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

OK first of all, hardly EVER apologize unless you really did something horrible like accidentally killing one of her cats in the microwave ;)

Secondly, you need to become more of a challenge for this girl. Sounds like she wears the daddy pants. Dude, she's living in your reality and not the other way around. If you don't feel bad about something you did, DO NOT APOLOGIZE. Even if you do feel bad (see cat example), you probably shouldn't. Instead of apologizing, say something like "What is it about what I did that pi$$es you off so much?" and when she explains herself say "OK, I understand." Notice, you aren't saying "I'm sorry", but you are demonstrating that you value her opinion.

Regarding the history map - she was giving you some c&f it sounds. I would have said exactly what I was doing with a gleem of charisma in my eye, "I'm studying that map trying to figure out where NY is (you ignorant b1tch)"

If she says "That's dumb" or implies that it's stupid, DUMP THE B1TCH. No girl on earth should ever think learning or studying or discovering is dumb. Those are MASCULINE characteristics. She should be wet in her little panties that you are curious.

How about confronting her with this?

Next time you are alone, and she says that stupid sh!t, ask her with a serious face what is the matter with her, and if she plays dumb ("I don't know what you are talking about..you wierdo..") then tell her, either you stop with this stupid crap of trying to insult me (or what ever it makes you feel) or just stop dating me, b/c I've had it with you.

Because if it's that serious that you brought it up to a forum, I'm guessing you are done playing around.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

What did you see in this girl to start dating her? What was it about her personality that attracted you?

If she's lacking class, put it in her a$$... see where I'm going with this? :D

LOL!

If she's not being right, give her a pillow to bite. ;)

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

If she's being a wh0re, slip it in her backdoor! :) .. you know what I'm saying?

If she's got no soul, put it in her booty hole! :D

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

i confronted her on the phone this morning, and she got all upset wit me,

"i thought u were over this already. I dunno, if we cant get over little things like this then i dunno."

so i say, i dont mean to make a big deal out of it, i just feel like i cant say anythin without u sayin that, u say it almost every time we hang out at least once.

so shes like "ok i wont ever say, "why do u know that", ever again. I didnt know it offends u.

im like "thats not the point here. its funny when i say soemthign really obscure. I dont mind u sayin it then. but if i mention things that r totally mainstream and normal and ur still sayin that, well then thats not normal, it bothers me cuz wat the hell is "cool" to talk about.

then i ended up apoloiging again like an idiot.

next time i aint apoligizng, i just f'd it up this time.

Well she seemed alot smarter when i first met her. And she is smart dont get me wrong, but now thats shes comfortable with me, she always says "why do u know that" Which is something i never hear anybody say. Who says that?
ive heard people use that expression on each other a few times but only when its somethin so obscure. I'll say normal things and she says that. It riles me up idont know why. Its like the ignorance of it drives me nuts. lol

But i like her cuz shes easygoing, we have alot in common, and were just alot alike in the way we think and wat we liek to do. But now im seeing a different side. I am not dumping her, cuz i really got feelings for her, but im sticvking to this attitude. i aint giving in. im gonna mention as many facts as i want and not let her make me seem weird. if that continues, im sayin goodbye. Cuz i am not a dumb guy, i know some guys who spew out facts like idiots. I am very conscious of not being obnoxisous and hogging convos and saying dorky things. the stuff i say is usually related to the conversaton and minor, not showing off. so it really doesnt apply to me when she says that.

Hey, I understand you man, but take it easy. You have a good way of thinking. Don't let this dumb little sentence ruin your relationship, but still, don't let it slide if it bothers you that much. (and it does sound annoying).

Let us know how it develops...

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
