I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

GF vents a lot about her stress at work to me. Even texted me she's thankful for me always being there when she needs to vent. Is this killing attraction subconsciously?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Tough one dude. Every chick I've ever dated has hated their job. Just listen to her venting when she's upset, but don't offer advice or try to fix her problem unless she asks. And make sure it doesn't mess up your relationship. Like her cancelling plans because of work troubles.

I think the only negative spin this could have is if you try to become "Mr. Fix-it". You're not her guidance counselor so don't try to be. Just listen... and then listen some more. The more you do so, the more she see's you as a supportive, caring boyfriend.. when ironically you didn't even have to do anything.

This is absolutely normal. I understand why you think it is a attraction killer, because it is!

Be thankful that it is just about work for right now. Why do think so many DJ's stress to stay away from divorced single moms with baggage. Because of the stress and baggage they bring to the table! BINGO! kid/kids, ex's, work, just about anything you can think of.

You've got it easy for now kid, enjoy it.
