"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

So tonight was crazy man.

I went and got my eyebrow pierces just for shlts. (my dad's gonna say i'm gay again like when I got my ears pierced. )

My friend got a tatoo that say's "hollywood" on his shoulder. It's money man, that's his nickname that HE invented and he does portray it well.

Anyways...

So later I went to this party, and I just got home like an hour ago (its 630) and There were a couple girls there.

I sat next to the girl that I wanted on a couch, and she got ALL UP ON ME. I was teasing her and it was fun.

The PROBLEM is that soon later she ended up spending the rest of her night in the toilet puking her brains out.

I was thinking of calling the girl who had the party and asking for the # of her, but I don't even remember her name, and that might just be kind of lame...

Ah I probably will...She was sexy.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Getting with drunk girls can be a horrible experience. Check my above "at the very least" thread about such a situation.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I got my eyebrow pierced one day when I was very drunk. I had just broken up with my girlfriend, and I was convinced that it was time to clean up and get ready to find somebody new. I was shamelessly flirting with a girl who had clearly come over to fvck my friend, but the alcohol I had so eagerly consumed reduced all my decision making to a matter of ability - I assumed that if I could do something, I should do something. That was the night I had my friends cut me a mohawk (which I hated), pressed the emergency button on the pole on campus at my friend's college and told the concerned female dispatcher 'blow me', and chased some traumatized ducks into a major road, stopping traffic and causing mass confusion. So, while my newest friends where getting arrested by the very police who I summoned but managed to outrun, I went with a stranger's advice and went to the piercing parlor to get my eyebrow pierced. After arguing him down to a $25 price (he want $50), he brought me into the back. I sat in the big 'dentist chair' and looked at myself in the mirror, trying to recognize the person staring back at me. I was sure it wasn't me - the guy in the mirror had a mohawk. No way would I have a mohawk. Before I realize anything has changed, the piercer is frantically pressing blue napkins against the new wound on my head muttering about how he doesn't pierce drunk people because they bleed too much. I don't recall him asking if I was drunk.

Anyway, I shaved off the mohawk but kept the peircing, and added the 10-gauge earrings that I hadn't worn since high school. Immeadiately girls noticed and reacted very positively - one girl approached me and said, I quote, "You know, I saw you before and I thought 'He's cute, but I'm not gonna talk to him', but when you walked past a minute ago I looked at my friends and told them 'When the hell did he get so hot!?' and I just had to come say hi" Even my college buddies seemed intimidated, saying things like "you look you're about to kick somebody's ass" to which I respond in varying ways - most often a variation of "Then don't piss me off" or "it might be yours if you don't grab me a soda".

Mostly I just like writing stories, but I'm pretty sure that when I hit the 'Post Reply' button I was ready to come to AnimalCracker's defense on the eyebrow piercing, as I too pierced mine for no damn reason and, as of yet, have found no compelling reason to get rid of it.
