Getting In Shape for Summer

I started in February to get in shape for the summer. I don't want to get super-huge, but i want to look muscular where people would notice that im 'pretty big' and work out. (im NOT fat but i have some 'spare tires' i'd like to get rid of, so i want to lose fat and gain muscle)

right now i weight 166.5 pounds

i want to have a gi-joe look

please tell me if im doing anything wrong

my workouts are broken up into 3 days....
i work out 4 times a week, and run on the elliptical for 20 minutes three times a week.

i try to cut out crap food. i try and eat high protein foods. and im taking creatine (1 scoop only when i work out)..and if i dont eat high protein foods, i have a egg-protein shake or a 'pure-protein' bar. i cant drink whey shakes cuz i crap them out.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Hm. You should be able to look good by July/August IF you stick dilligently to your goals, and for that you need a strict eating plan, workout routine and cardio schedule. You can't do something like this instinctively unless you're really good at gauging how your body works..

Post up:
Your entire workout routine (exercises, sets etc)
Cardio schedule
Typical day's diet (be honest)

And we'll take it from there.

either is fine.

I prefer people posting stuff in the open so that a) other members can chime in and b) more people can see the advice given
