I've gotten several numbers so far but I can't seem to get a date. Either the girl won't reply back to my text, or stop replying after I ask them out.

Numbers are meaningless and are only a constellation prize if you don't succed with an insta-date. You have to go for the insta-date and if the chick agrees, it will soldify the number.
