"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

hiyo!

i've been lifting weights regulary for around 11 months, now that year 11 has finished and resumes on the 15th of Feb, I do weights at home.

I have a bar, dumbells and one of those stretchy things that prison guys use :woo:
I can add weight to the bar, so i've got stuff like arms and back covered.

I do pushups to help keep my chest in abit of shape (seeing as I dont have access to a proper gym with bench etc.) and also situps / crunches / russian twists for my abs.

I'm pretty happy with my body since I started doing gym, what i'd like to do is gain more mass on my arms, while trying to really get a 6pack to come through on my abs.

And also how much should I eat? What foods should I avoid / eat lots of?

What's the best way to go about this? Since last week i've been adding heavy weight to the bar when I do curls so I struggle to curl it 8 times. High weight + low reps = more mass?

And whats the best way to get that 6pack look on my chest?

Help appriciated guys, ta!

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

You need to do abs exercise, and get your diet in place while doing moderate to high intensity cardio work, you have to shed that bodyfat in order for your six pack to show.

Okay, first off I don't mean to be a pr!ck but you're asking some basic questions which are covered in DIESEL's stickies - even though I disagree with him on a few points. The information is still there though.

I'll just say get out of the 'arms and abs' mentality, because firstly, it doesn't get you anywhere, and secondly, well, it makes you look a bit daft (not to put too fine a point on it). Work out your WHOLE body (legs included) and you'll find gains come a helluva quicker.

To add an inch on your arms you need to add 20lbs of bodyweight (sometimes more, sometimes less depending on your genetics) - how long are you gonna need to put size on your arms doing just curls (answer: years)? On the other hand, do some heavy compounds like life-or-death deadlifts or widowmaker squats and your body will be terrified into producing lean tissue; you could have that extra inch on your guns in a month or three.

Okay, the rest of your questions are covered in Diesel's stickies.

(and yes, you CAN get bigger and leaner at the same time, don't anyone tell you different)

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
