Getting a group of people closer?

So at my school I'm part of a club and the club is split up in "families". I'm the head of my family and each family head is in charge of getting everyone closer together. So far everyone is cool with each other, but that's as far as it goes. Everyone in my family only sees each other during meetings and events but they aren't really close. I really want to get everyone in my family to be closer, though I'm not sure how I'm going to tackle this. I tried setting up little fun activities and play some games, but so far I feel like I haven't progressed.

Any suggestions?

Get everybody together, get fking wasted and take pics, post on facebook an friend everybody up (suggest them as friends to eachother etc). and just comment the **** out of everybodys profiles encourage them to do the same.

Yeah that's a good idea. Come to think of it, that's basically how I got close to my current group of friends right now. Alcohol does wonders.

Interact outside of school. Arrange activities at your house so it's more personal. Include alcohol and you will have some bonding moments. I've done it recently with a small divided fraternity and brought everyone closer together.
