"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Whats up, gentlemen...

I work at a department store, and I see alot of hot girls on a daily basis--I help them find things, and I also deal with them at the register. I am not nervous talking to them at all, as I deal with hoards of them everyday and am desenitized in a way...However, getting a number from them just seems akward to me for whatever reason.

Anyone who wants to talk about girls not wanting to give me their number because they would perceive me as one who does not make money working at a dept store--Please Fvck off...Do not bother to post. I am a college student with a part-time job.

Considering I am getting a girl who is giving me IOI's, what is the best way to get her number, and also how to get her number at the register.

Anyone who is experienced in getting chicks from work would be helpful.

Thanks.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

You got to be careful if you doing that stuff at work. One complaint can get you in trouble with the big boss.
Even if you do get her number and go out if you ever break up with her she knows where to find you or start problems at your work with your boss. Think it over. Be careful.

My specialty! I have gone out with alot of customers, and have gotten in alot of trouble from my boss. Its my first job and I'm not making a career out of it so I figure as long as my job is getting done I will be fine.

I normally approach them "Do you need help finding anything" or "Finding everything alright" and if they say no I help them find it and introduce myself to them after I'm done helping them find whatever they are looking for. Since I work in a "high-end" grocery store we help out the customers,so if I'm feeling it I offer them help out,and if they accept, they know what's up.

Lately I have been approaching "special" customers differently, direct approaching and its worked like a charm so far. The women blush so hard and are so shocked when I approach them its kinda funny. I will ask them if they need help and no matter what their answer is I use something along the lines of,:"Hey I know I shouldn't be doing this at work,but...I thought you were really cute and I wanted to meet you."(I extend my hand)"I'm blinkwatt" and you just role from there.

I have probably approached 8 or so customers. Gone out with 5,2 were flaky. One has a boyfriend but she is more then happy to talk to me and get to know me better,I know she will come right back when she breaks up with her boyfriend.(I direct approached her)

It depends on the type of boss. Some bosses are total jackasses. Others are more flexible.

Exactly the kinda advice that I needed. I really dont have a problem talking with girls--its just the number thing that kinda hangs me up and Im gonna try your line that paces the situation (slightly modified)...

"Hey I know I shouldn't be doing this at work, but...I thought you were really cute and I wanted to meet you outside of work sometime."

I do the whole "finding everything allright?" thing pretty often also, and notice that most people want your help but are to shy to ask for it.

And they can fire me I dont care.

Thanks blinkwatt for the advice.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
