"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

hey guys, im new on here and i'll have to admit that some of the stuff here is golden! I have experience approaching women and getting the girl, so im not completely in the dark regarding this stuff. But i feel this situation is a bit different...

I recently started working at this restaurant as a server, and there's this girl... lets say her name is Sarah, and she's a hostess. I already started talkin to her to establish some kind of relationship but its nothing really significant. I just went up to her and said "hi, how's work?" and we just talked about how its like working there, and what school she goes to. Then after i cut the convo short by saying, "im gonna take my break now, but my name is Chris." and then she told me her name then i left. My goal is to get this girl, but i feel a bit more cautious doing this because if i do something really stupid, or if things don't work out between us, it'll make the workplace feel a bit awkward.

So, for the Don Juan MASTERS, how would you advise me to approach this situation while keeping the work space comfortable (between me and sarah that is).

Any advise would be great!!! Thanks fellas!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

You are just like the other dozen guys a week that try to "build rapport" with her.

Dating co-workers is fraught with trouble. That's not to say it can't work, but it is a demanding situation. Tread carefully here...

he doesn't work for Initech or a major corporation or anything like that.....he's in food service, the ass end of the working man's chain....so what if he wants to hook up with her cus he's gonna get a new job in a few months anyway....just have fun with yourself while busting her chops and you'll be "right as rain"

Its such a general question at the minute because you've basically just started talking with this girl. Not to **** on things already but she may even have a BF. At the minute your goal is to exert value, if you don't understand how to do this, then definitely read the Bible because it's one of the tenets of being a DJ...

You want her to enjoy whatever time you spend together so that she actively seeks you out to join her on her breaks, to see each other outside of work etc... a danger in the work scenario is that you mistake a friend for something more however, and you're left without an escape from the friend zone before you know it...

And almost forgot... most importantly, run this game on all the girls in the shop... there is nothing better than to have a number of the girls talking about you in a favourable light, and you are further portrayed as a valuable asset because she doesn't take your interest for granted... she's left to fight it out with the other girls and she ends up wondering how she can exert value to you...

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
