Ok, the main reason I'm posting this is for advice on this first chick I just met, but wouldn't mind opinions on the other 2 anyway..
First one has highest chance of success and is the one I’m most concerned about.. Last Saturday night my flatmates and I hosted a belated flatwarming party. At the beginning of the evening a girl who was a friend of one of my flatmates friends started chatting to me, we got on pretty well, she asked plenty of questions about me and we were both into the same sort of music, ended up going through a lot of my records and cds, she’s only been in London six weeks and she was asking about different places to go for the different music we like, and so on, I was thinking “easy, I’ll just ask her for her number so we can go to a new club together or something”, somehow though I didn’t close the deal, I think I got up to go to the toilet or something and when I came back she was talking to someone else or something, I’m not sure, anyway, I made a mental note to get the # later. But ended up getting very drunk, very quickly and kinda forgot about it, since it was my party too I had lots of friends there that I ended up talking too. I only remember speaking to her again once, right towards the end of the night, when she was trying to mix on my decks and I tried to teach her, but I realized she was even drunker than I was by then, she could barely see. She ended up leaving with her mates without saying goodbye since she was so screwed. Net result: no # for me. So.. I really liked her (well when she could talk) I have two options, 1: try and persuade my flatmate to invite his friend along next time we go out and hope/get flatmate to persuade her, to bring this girl along, once I see her again I’m sorted. 2: Actually get my flatmate to do the “my friend likes your friend, can he have her number” routine. The way I see it, 1 suffers from the possibility that it could be along time to actually get us all out together, especially since I have no real idea how close friends this girl is with my flatmates friend. But 2, suffers from being a bit cheesy and showing too much interest early on.
Second girl: about 4 months ago my mum sent me some girls email address who was the daughter of a friend of one of her friends or something, she lived in London and was single and interested in meeting new people or something, I have never met her, have no idea what she looks like, or what her personality is like, hence I never got round to emailing her, but I’m starting to think “what the hell, what have I got to lose?” I just have no idea how to approach that sort of thing, especially since she probably knows I’ve had her email for so long and never used it, any ideas?
Number 3, is pretty textbook. Hot girl that works in the sandwich shop near work, its pretty busy when I go in there, a couple of months ago I ordered a toasted sandwich and she was the one who brought it to me, she looked really flustered, busy and pissed off, but when I identified myself as the one waiting, she suddenly looked really happy, made strong eye contact with me, told me to “enjoy”, before flashing me a fantastic smile and turning to go back to work.. Since there are about 6 tills, and you basically go to whichever one frees up first, combined with the fact that I don’t go there every day, and she doesn’t work there every day, I’ve not been served by her since but a couple of times I’ve caught her eye and she’s flashed me a smile, yesterday was the first time I’d seen her for a while and she gave me a wink and a smile before turning back to her work. Since its so busy I don’t really have the chance to talk to her other than “have a nice day”, so I reckon if I’ve any chance I need to start going there for a coffee run in the afternoon or something. Regardless, she probably serves hundreds of guys like me and flirts with them all, so I doubt I’ve much chance, but at least she obviously remembers who I am.
