"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Ok, the main reason I'm posting this is for advice on this first chick I just met, but wouldn't mind opinions on the other 2 anyway..

First one has highest chance of success and is the one I’m most concerned about.. Last Saturday night my flatmates and I hosted a belated flatwarming party. At the beginning of the evening a girl who was a friend of one of my flatmates friends started chatting to me, we got on pretty well, she asked plenty of questions about me and we were both into the same sort of music, ended up going through a lot of my records and cds, she’s only been in London six weeks and she was asking about different places to go for the different music we like, and so on, I was thinking “easy, I’ll just ask her for her number so we can go to a new club together or something”, somehow though I didn’t close the deal, I think I got up to go to the toilet or something and when I came back she was talking to someone else or something, I’m not sure, anyway, I made a mental note to get the # later. But ended up getting very drunk, very quickly and kinda forgot about it, since it was my party too I had lots of friends there that I ended up talking too. I only remember speaking to her again once, right towards the end of the night, when she was trying to mix on my decks and I tried to teach her, but I realized she was even drunker than I was by then, she could barely see. She ended up leaving with her mates without saying goodbye since she was so screwed. Net result: no # for me. So.. I really liked her (well when she could talk) I have two options, 1: try and persuade my flatmate to invite his friend along next time we go out and hope/get flatmate to persuade her, to bring this girl along, once I see her again I’m sorted. 2: Actually get my flatmate to do the “my friend likes your friend, can he have her number” routine. The way I see it, 1 suffers from the possibility that it could be along time to actually get us all out together, especially since I have no real idea how close friends this girl is with my flatmates friend. But 2, suffers from being a bit cheesy and showing too much interest early on.

Second girl: about 4 months ago my mum sent me some girls email address who was the daughter of a friend of one of her friends or something, she lived in London and was single and interested in meeting new people or something, I have never met her, have no idea what she looks like, or what her personality is like, hence I never got round to emailing her, but I’m starting to think “what the hell, what have I got to lose?” I just have no idea how to approach that sort of thing, especially since she probably knows I’ve had her email for so long and never used it, any ideas?

Number 3, is pretty textbook. Hot girl that works in the sandwich shop near work, its pretty busy when I go in there, a couple of months ago I ordered a toasted sandwich and she was the one who brought it to me, she looked really flustered, busy and pissed off, but when I identified myself as the one waiting, she suddenly looked really happy, made strong eye contact with me, told me to “enjoy”, before flashing me a fantastic smile and turning to go back to work.. Since there are about 6 tills, and you basically go to whichever one frees up first, combined with the fact that I don’t go there every day, and she doesn’t work there every day, I’ve not been served by her since but a couple of times I’ve caught her eye and she’s flashed me a smile, yesterday was the first time I’d seen her for a while and she gave me a wink and a smile before turning back to her work. Since its so busy I don’t really have the chance to talk to her other than “have a nice day”, so I reckon if I’ve any chance I need to start going there for a coffee run in the afternoon or something. Regardless, she probably serves hundreds of guys like me and flirts with them all, so I doubt I’ve much chance, but at least she obviously remembers who I am.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Ok man...

1st girl, don´t do any of your options. Ask her friend yourself about her, ask for her number and call her.

2nd girl email her. Maybe even joke a tiny bit about being so desperate your mum sets you up. (Don´t do the joke thing if it doesn´t feel right).

3rd girl, go some day you think she´ll be there, go get a coffee or ****, if you dont know her name, ask her, maybe ask something else.. and tell her you see she is busy, and youu are busy yourself but you would like to hang out with her, and ask for her number.
If you go and she isn´t there, ask a chick for her. Not a guy. That impression you leeave onn the chick will be important, so be the DJ you are.

Cheers,

Just to clarify, here is how I know the first girl..

me --> my flatmate --> his friend --> her

I have no idea how strong the relationship between my flatmates friend and her actually is.. so anyway, you reckon best bet is to get my flatmates friends details off him, then call/email her to ask for the girl in questions details?

well screw it, what have I got to lose?

2nd girl.. really I have no idea how to open this, to be honest I should have contacted before our houseparty so I could have invited her to it, I might see if I can find out something about her from my mum, i.e. what sort of stuff she's into.. at least then I'll be able to provide some content for the email..

3rd: I already knew this, its just a case of having balls of steel and going for it.. I know her name (from the nametag) just need to advance the conversation beyond the usual have a good day fluff talk.. this one definitely needs to be done in the afternoon or something when its quieter, maybe I'll take a late lunch..
