"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

They did pat themselves pretty hard on the back for doing what our revolutionary, civil war, first Great War , and other predecessors did, it is an interesting point.
To be fair, it was Tom Brokaw and a handful of pundits who fell out of the womb with oak trees lodged intractably in their rectums who dubbed these folks TGG, not WWII veterans themselves. And in one sense, those vets were extremely fortunate: They were among the few in human history to participate in a conflict which, on the surface, had all the trappings of a Tolkien-esque clash between good and evil

Most wars before and since lack that sort of PR

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Don't misunderstand: I admire many folks who lived during that era. The record demonstrates that they were no less flawed and f-cked up than anyone who before or since though https://www.npr.org/2013/06/17/192882612/wwii-deserters-stories-of-men-who-left-the-front-lines

And the vast majority of them DID NOT go toe to toe with Nazis on the shores of Normandy, or tangle with the forces of Hirohito in the jungles of Burma. Same way the vast majority of the enlisted in every war since WWII didn't/still don't go into combat

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

What do you guys have to say for yourselves? :). The same story plays out right here on SS. Women don't want you and employers don't either. Tough world.

In fairness, if a similar survey was conducted 50 years ago, the results would have likely been quite similar. Don't tell me you've never heard your own parents or grandparents complain about "kids these day" lol.

moving up the corporate ladder, being a successful entrepreneur, and purchasing a home in a ritzy neighborhood was no longer seen as "normie stuff" anymore
Being a high-level corporate executive or successful entrepreneur and buying a home in a "ritzy neighborhood" was never "normie stuff".

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Read what I wrote in it's entirety:

"Today's teens and early adolescents are similar to folks of that age, immediately after The Summer Of Love.... Not quite sure if they were boys or girls, and very tough to hire. We're going to have to undergo a cultural shift similar to the one we went through in The 1980s, when moving up the corporate ladder, being a successful entrepreneur, and purchasing a home in a ritzy neighborhood was no longer seen as "normie stuff" anymore

Yes, this had it's problems also, namely the lionization of consumerism. What we're doing today though is leaving lots of folks on the bottom rung of the socioecomic ladder, and ravaging our economy, in an era where we're facing unprecedented overseas competition from overseas markets"

As opposed to wasting your time in the office with pointless chit chat, sipping coffee, taking 30 minute shvts, and pretending to look busy all day? No one actually works all day, except hard laborers.
And even then they take breaks in there even if it's just slowing down the pace significantly.

Each time we hear predictions that so-called "Gen Z" will be a hell of a lot more robust than "Millenials", headlines like the following https://www.facebook.com/share/15yWe9wdGs/ https://www.cato.org/blog/nearly-third-gen-z-favors-home-government-surveillance-cameras-1 surface. Are we surprised?

They're the descendants of folks who-in the 2000s-called on French Fries to be renamed Freedom Fries(Lest they be triggered by hearing the former term), and a latter wave of equally censorius prigs in The 10s, who went out of their way to turn everything from university campuses to comedy clubs into Safe Spaces
