"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

lately, and ive been texting her back, but i feel like were heading straight into the just friends zone, she has a bf, so i cant say something that i would normally say, like lets stop texting, meet up and get together

but i dont wanna be heading for the just friends zone, the texting is mainly usual chit chat, like hey howz ur day been etc etc, and sometimes she mentions how her bf is a knob, i just ignore those comments and try and change the subject

i feel the texting has to stop, how do i let her know this, without being rude and not texting her back at all?...

would just telling her "look its great chatting to you but but i dont wanna become one of your galfriends, so the texting should be kept to a minimum and we should just use it to arrange when were meeting up"

btw, yes she does have a bf, but i do feel she is kinda intrested in me, we flirt quite a bit at college, but shes admitted shes flirty with everyone, and shes also admitted shes a bit of an attention seeker and her bf doesnt give her any, which does make me think she is using me for attention and her bf hates me and has admitted hes jelous to her, which also makes me think shes using me to get at him a bit (she once text me infront of him, asking me "so do you fancy me then?" (wasnt a random question, a gal at college told her i did and we were chatting about her)

cheers for any advice

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
