"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Alright Guys, I know i don't have a lot of posts here but I've been reading the forums for a while now. Here's my situation and any advice/critism is welcome.

I recently (about 2 1/2 weeks ago) lost my virginity (I'm 19) to a 21 yr old. We had been messing around off and on for a while before that and finally the V is gone! (I'm glad I've started this whole sex thing :)) Anyway...we've had sex prob 6 or 7 times since then and its been enjoyable for both of us, blah blah blah.

Here's the issue. I go a university and she lives right next door to me. She has said that we are "seeing" eachother, and I am starting to have some feelings for her. I have been fairly DJ like with her, and I am doing my best to not fall too hard for her, but she hasn't had a relationship for like 3 years and I would like to be dating her, she has said she DOES like me, but I don't mind where things are at right now. I see her prob. once a day (she has two jobs, etc.) and I am wanting to see her more but want to act detached, etc. Should I bring up the relationship issue or just keep my mouth shut? On Sunday I just went over to her apartment without calling and we ended up having sex (and she said something to the effect of "I could get used to having sex with you")...sluts!

How often should I call this girl? Should I play a little ganja (sp?) Should I not just stop by at her place? Obviously I am getting my first taste of woman here and it is GOOD! What can I do to make the best of this situation and not make anything weird? Thanks for your help DJs.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I can't give you the best advice here, but I can make a recommendation since I've been in your exact situation.

If you're like me, losing my virginity was just pity for the woman in terms of her enjoying herself. Act as carefree as you can, and don't ever even think you're in love with such a trashy girl. Stay with her for as long as things don't get serious and LEARN ALL YOU CAN. Have sex as much as possible, even ask her to show you all she knows.

Your experiance boosts up in sex/relationships and after you're through with her, all you'll need to know is how to get the kind of woman you want.

'preciate the responses guys...

Yeah...I am looking at this as a learning experience for sure. How do you bring up the subject of sex? I don't want to make it seem like that is all I want (which is partly true), but the serious relationship thing may not happen. She has made it clear to me that she wants to continue to have sex (i.e. "We'll have to try that again", hinting towards future sex, etc). Obviously with this being my first sexual partner I don't have all the tricks of the trade down, so any response is appreciated. Thanks again fellas!

Well, you're on the right ladder. You can go from Fbuddy to relationship but never friend to relationship (unless girl initiates it.) - Guess it looks like you both might move down to that couple-status.. play it cool - you see each other often and stuff.. carry on.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

So true about bringing up relationships, it definitely isn't a good move. I learned that the hard way. Just keep having sex if you can, and it may lead to more naturally.

Oh, believe I am going to have sex as much as possible! ;) I just read Pook's "Kill That Desperation" and it helped a lot. I really wanted to call her tonight, she said she'd "call me sometime" when I left her place last night AND I WANT TO CALL HER AND DO SEX! But I didn't, nor did I just stop by (remember she lives next door). So that's a positive step.

DeathDealer, you think I can take this to the relationship level, and Nightspark, you don't. Can you guys elaborate on your reasoning? I do care about this girl but don't NEED to have a relationship, so I would like to hear both sides of the coin.

Thanks again for the responses DJs!
