"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

99 percent of the people in this world are worried about friends In school or wherever I go to put someone down the yalways make statements like you have no friends shutup and many people do shutup because they feel embarrassed and they think they really are losers because they have no friends. But I think that is ****ING BULL****. Who the **** invented the rule that you need people to be happy and to be success. WE came into this ****ing world alone and I gurantee You were leaving the world alone and the last thing were gonna be thinking about is your freinds or people in ****ing general. I think the reason tha most people are like this is that since we were born their was always people in our lives everytime we were never ****ing alone from when we were babies we are all social in some ways even the so called geeks and that influence made us think we needed people to survive but in truth we dont all this made us get used to pleasing other people and forget ourselves all this made us feel that what people thought said or ****ing did to you actually effected us but it really ****ing doesnt. I think this is the main ****ing reason that people Throw away their dreams and follow other people because they feel that other people's lives are always better and in turn they must follow people. I think the need for friends is not natural it is not subconsious the need for friends and popularity and all that vanity is the result of the environment were in it really has not effect on us it's justr so ****ing common that everyone thinks its natural. Truth is i think friends and people in general hold you back Before when I used to think that if you have friends then your instantly popular and all that bull**** so i ****ed my self over for some friends and when I hung out with them it was boring and pointless i still had that empty feeling inside of me Actually when i did hang out with people i felt even more alone because I was so different from everyone but I was just faking it. So to all you guys like me **** PEOPLE alkl they do is hold you back you will never be happy if you focus your life on being popular or fitting in those things come when you be yourself and do what you want to do after all who invented the things that everyone does now it was just another man like me and you he probably didnt have any friends because people werent used to his kind of personality but he kept going and the right people came along and accepted it and it probably be came more popular. This is the only way stop putting the focus on people and just focus on yourself then the people you want will come . Friends just limt you

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art.... It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival. ~C.S. Lewis

BTW, what you saying is chasing to become popular is pointless, not friends. Surronding yourself with acquantances and surronding yourself with friends are two different things.

There's no other ways to kick back and relax without friends. You can relax a little by yourself, but you still need friends.

I see what you're saying though. It's hard to make good friends. I barely even talked to anyone from school over the summer, so I guess you would say most of them are just acquaintances while we're all trapped in school. I'm making most of my friends through my passions and interests.

jtrain, yeah high school is all bull****. Tariq Nasheed has a good podcast about high school. http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=44823504&blogID=151550821 (direct link http://www.supload.com/listen?s=SX_n8tD9CTb) doesn't look like the link is working anymore though. could just be me. I can upload it if you want.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Friendship can be directly linked to one's survival regardless of what some philosophers think. Nature proves this every day all over the world. Lions hunt in packs to become more efficient at hunting, wildebeest travel in herds for protection, ants work together to achieve great architectural wonders (underground that is). Predators go for the prey that stand out, are on their own, are weak, and are sickly. A wolf in a pack will live longer and in a more comfortable environment than a lone wolf. Friendship is associated with being in a group therefore proving that friendship is vital to one's survival.

Na man friends will help you out but you dont need it for your survival the ymake everything better but at the end of the day you can do everything by yourself it'll be harder but you'll still get thier. Those animals do it in packs because it makes it easier but that doesnt mean if they did those things alone they wouldnt survive.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
