What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

If you are friends with a girl and have proven that your not a horndog and try to get in her pants, she will tell all her single friends that she has this great guy that they should meet. Women love to be match maker for their friends, so if your the catch, you'll have plenty of bait to eat up.

If you're looking for a wife then sure. There is no quicker way to the altar than dating a FOAF (friend of a friend), except for maybe dating a FOTF (friend of the family). When you combine your social circle with your dating circle, it tends to rope you into one long term monogamous committed relationship. Because if you ditch the girl or she ditches you, you have to give up many of your mutual friends as well, some of whom will choose her, some of whom will choose you.

I have a couple of female friends who are very cool and funny and whom I have no attraction for but like to grab a beer with on occasion. I always tell them not to insult me by trying to set me up with anyone. I do not mix dating and social circles because I like to be free to dump chicks I'm seeing without it affecting my friends.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Yes but make sure that you get something out of it and not wasting your time. Also remember that if your little friend has any romantic interest in you, she will c@#*block the heck out of you when you're near her friends.
