"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I have a pretty (well, not very) interesting situation. I have a friend, (next door neighbor too), a year younger than me, who I have know since I was like 3. We have always been pals but lately we have been hanging out with different groups of friends and it has been ages since we hang out with eachother. He hangs out with a lot of very cute girls that I would like to get to know, but I only know some of his guy friends. We don't really talk at school, we acknowledge eachother, but we don't hang out or anything. I guess I am just wondering what would be a good way to go hang out or talk with his friends. Sorry if this is a weird question, but it is not just about the girls either, we have been good friends for ages and barely ever hang out anymore, so I want to hang out with him more and get to know some more of his friends.

P.S. I am a little sleep deprived, so if this makes little sense, I apologize.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
