"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

TL DR My first American girl. Girls "travelling" alone or on holiday are easy mode.

Was on my first tinder date of the night at 8:30pm with a HB6. She looked much better in pictures...made an excuse to close early to meet my second date for the night, a cute HB8 Spanish chick at salsa around 10:30pm. Enroute I get a text via Tinder from an American girl visiting London that I'd been chatting to. She's free tonight. I figure I can see this Spanish girl another time (who's out with friends anyway btw). Plus flaking on her is DHV.

Meet the American girl instead. HB9. Serious. Italian American, brunette, about 5'7, from New Jersey, lives in Penslyvania and a feminist. We grab a drink, then I take her to a shisha bar (think you guys call it Hookah). I offer to take her back to her place (which is far). She says I dont need to so I say how about we grab a few drinks at my place instead. She is keen. We get an uber back there and do the dirty. The end.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

It's never a boring night with double- or triple- headers, heh.

Italian from Jersey, did she have the "Joysey" accent. Most of my gfs in my 20s were first-generation American Italians who made great gfs, as their families are strictly patriarchal, and men are given significant deference.

I predominantly date Italian/Eastern European/Russian girls (non-money hungry type), first generation or recently immigrated. I find them to be the hottest and most compatible women.

We went out together last night too. Was planning to take her to a spot where a few of my friends had booked a table with bottle service but she hadn't packed smart shoes and the venue has a strict dress code.

Instead we went clubbing elsewhere. Took her back to my place and we had fun for a good few hours. She went straight from my flat to her place to pack and then direct to the airport, no sleep. I didn't go to bed until 7 am.

T'was a good two nights. She really enjoyed herself. Wanted to add me on facebook and ask that I keep in touch. Unless she gets a boyfriend I can see her being a solid link if I'm ever travelling to the East coast of the US, just because as a stranger in a foreign land you automatically have that ephemeral status and a more pronounced sense of mystery. Was thinking of hitting NYC some time in the Autumn so we will see what the future brings.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
