"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

This one's for you JC!

I won't go into super duper details for this one. I'll try to keep this short and sweet.

I'm talking to this HB and we are walking in the hallway (bottom level) of the dorm. We are about to go upstairs to her room and .....(I know what you were thinking you dirty dog you!)

When all of a sudden HB's AFC Friend yells her name. He comes over and asks her to introduce him to the other students in the commons room. Apparently, he is too shy to introduce HIMSELF. He wanted to get votes for some stupid student election.

Anywho, we walked to the commons room (AWAY from seduction location).

Recap: We are just about to walk upstairs to go to her room when AFC Friend calls her name. He comes over. I stand there doing NOTHING  and he takes her in another direction as I follow. That gets a double  !

I know I should have done something but WHAT?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Kintuz, wanna know what I would have done?

I'd have done her job for her. I wouldn't have rubbed it in her face, unless she actually tried. If she was doing a good job, than I would... COMPETE with her.

When your seducing a girl, you got to up the emotions... I don't know how she could have so easily been taken away from you in the first place... Enough for her to be taken away by an AFC guy, but that's your problem to think of later.

You want to 'amp the attraction'. Just brainstorm how you would do that. hmmm?

What was she trying to do at the moment she was taken away? talking to you I assume, since that is what you told us. Than somebody comes to her and asks HER for help... hmmmm... think she got a sense of importance at that moment? She weighed her choices, and chose the AFC who gave her the opportunity to talk to more people, over YOU, who was just in the first stages of isolation.

As soon as she stood up to walk away, you should have pulled the jealousy card. ASK her where she is going. Plant the seeds of distrust, and her own disrespect to you inside of her mind. Make her realize that when she talked to you, she had an obligation to keep the conversation going...

"I'm going to help *AFC* get some votes in the elction."

Then you make a decision! Are you going to stay behind, and wait for her to come back? Or, are you going to lead her in the direction that she has chosen?

What you did was choose option two, but put the desperation spin into it. You FOLLOWED her to the commons room, Mr AFC had the leader quality for him, times two since he was looking for her to to teach HIM how to gain acceptance by people.

I'm sure there were so many ways that she felt compelled to help him out. Friendship, asking nicely, and the promise of a good reputation, and a good word if she did her job well...

You should have lead the pack. "where are you going" "commons room with *afc*, votes for election blah blah blah" "cool, hey *afc* good to meet you, what are you running for?"

Run some C+F on him infront of her, get him pumped up, tell him how good he's going to do, and how he's going to swindle the organization when he gets in. When he introduces a concept, say "save it for your speech", when he begins talking to people, put in good words for him... if the girl knows your trying, but are talking out of your ass, she would have eaten you alive after you were done talking up people with mr *afc*

Very True flippinfreak!

When he came over, I lost my state. I wasn't the POSITIVE, FUN, and HAPPY Kintuz that I am!

I should've controlled the situation and have a good time!

I would have given you rep points for this one, but it says that I need to spread it before I can give it to you again!

no worries about the rep points...

I'd rather the points reflect my actions:p

One person busted me for my insults to all but you;)

I want to have the lowest rep on this board:D

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
