Never happened to me because I always confirm before wasting my valuable time. But it's happened to girls who I didn't confirm with, as well as three vets on this forum.

Even if you were to schedule a meet with your friend or family member whom you already know, you would shoot a text, "Hey, I'll meet you there at 8" to account for everyone's varied timing which could easily push out. As well things come up. And you and she have never met, so there is no investment in keeping plans and no social loss in flaking. It's quite silly and childish really and shows a lack of social acuity not to connect the day of.

No, sociopaths live for themselves dumbass. If someone was trying to hurt my brother but “I just can’t be bothered right now because I might get hurt too”, that’s the ultimate ***** **** right there. Here’s the thing, you choose not to live for others. But that doesn’t mean that you live for yourself. There’s men like me that would still put themselves in harms way for others. Don’t mean that we would let those same people walk all over us though. You can be selfless without taking **** from others.

Yet you can’t desire both? I can pummel a dude’s face in to make him do what I want just so that he can respect me. But he would hate my guts. And so would many others. They would eventually go against me. Get someone to like you though, there’s benefits. It’s about balance. Know when to be kind and when to be firm.
