ive been talking to this european chick for about a month now online and on the phone(she pays for the calls).we like each other alot and and have tons in common and just click.and recently shes been suggesting that she comes down here to visit me,i have no problem with that since im not the one spending anything.this is just sort of insane though,i know long distance s**t never works out,and this is an extreme case of long distance. i just dont know what to make of it, i dont wanna get too attached cause shes like 12,000 miles away and it would be foolish.im just thinking i should wait and see what the hell happens when she does come down here(she's saveing up). whats your guy's take on it?

Dude, be very careful with these types. There is a HUGE potential for scams with these types. If in the event she does come, she's gonna put HEAVY pressure on you to marry her. And do you know why? She wants citizenship! She's probably already married back home with 2 kids named "Sasha" and "Svetlana" Know what else? - if you do wind up hanging out and spending lots of time with her, she'll most likely be making many long distance phone calls back home to her "brother" which will in most cases be her husband, BF, or even pimp.

Do yourself a favor and do internet searches on these types of scams. It'll give you some insight and perhaps things to expect.

12,000 miles???? Sounds more like Asia (most of Russia is Asian...including Moscow). My advice is to study a Slavic language and take a vacation first. If you like it then look at the local property market (you can live really large in many parts). Most areas have large expat populations, so you shouldn't ever feel that isolated. Once you are settled you should have no problems meeting some of the World's most beautiful girls. Few, if any of the rules you hear on here will apply to them. Just be yourself and you should have no problem finding many beautiful girls who will want to be your girlfriend. That is the key. They will WANT to be your girlfriend. You don't have to spend days plotting lame strategies to get an unattractive over-the-hill woman to give you the time of day.

The Internet as a whole is spooky. I wouldn't trust meeting any girl in person that I first met online. People change drastically once you get them face to face.

Honestly, I would have to agree with the guy that said you should take a trip out there. Go on a vacation, have fun. I went to Germany with my sister when I was 19... and met some really gorgeous girls. Some were older than me, some were younger... but damn it's easy to get laid there. People in Europe are much more casual about sex, it's not taboo and you don't have to play stupid games.

I personally wouldn't make plans to have some chick from another country come visit me for a week. It wouldn't be logical, I'm too busy to entertain some broad for 7 days straight. That and I'd find it hard to trust someone's intentions that wants to fly out thousands of miles to spend time with me when I had never met them in real life before. Actually I find it hard to trust anyones intentions... but thats just me.
