"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

for all you google lovers

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Gotta love conspiracy theorists. Do you also think UFOs have landed and are in some secret base in New Mexico? That Kennedy was shot by the CIA?
Yes.

C'mon, people have been making up bull like that since pretty much the start of recorded history.
Correction. People have been suspicious since the start of recorded history.

Also, Mr. Learn-To-Write-Before-Posting, YOU may want to do a little research before posting. http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread83236/pg1 (Top 10 REAL conspiracy's). Not every conspiracy theory is made up.

So what? So what if the government does have a UFO in Area 51, and the CIA, the Masons, Nessie, and Bigfoot have summit meetings in Atlantis?
There are still problems (war, pollution, global warming, famine, AIDS, cancer, poverty, etc.) that need solving...
Yeah, but conspiracy theory's are fun.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Agreed, which I don't have a problem with as long as they provide a valuable product. However, this has me concerned about the quality of searches Google will provide in the future.

Google DoubleClick merger: Who wins, who loses

Maybe I will check out the Evil Empire's competing product.
At present Google really only has one competitor. Yahoo Overture. The other search networks, Ask, MSN, and LookSmart are minority players. The only one of the 5 that seems to be gaining any ground over google is Ask, but if Ask ever presents a challenge to google, I suspect it will fall victim to a hostile takeover.

Fact is Yahoo sold out completely years before google was even on the map.

PPC is actually a pretty good thing, I'm getting worried that sooner or later (or maybe even now) google will sell out and enter paid links into organic results.

The fact of the matter is google is gobbling up anything and everything. A strategy that has proven to be disastrous countless times for other companies. I fully expect google to announce that it will split into several smaller corporations within the next 5 years.
I wish I was higher on the corporate ladder
