I've only recently figured this out, so I'll post up a topic about it while it's fresh in mind.
You've gotten a decent level of success, you can consistently get numbers and makeouts as well as the occasional lay. However, you can rarely get a girl to follow through and those that do often flake. It's frustrating. I know. I've been there.
First of all the best way to solidify a number is to plan the date when you meet them when you get there number. Just give a time and place you're free, ask them to come and then get their number.
Another basic: Should you text or call? I'd say text. If I call a girl she often won't answer, or will ask why I am calling. Calls can be awkward and many girls in this generation are hesitant to accept them from people they don't know all that well, which you usually will be.
The specifics of texting are pretty simple:
1) Start text conversations with a statement. A girl will reply to any statement that doesn't degrade, insult or offend her if she likes you. If she doesn't like you, she may reply to a question but she won't meet up. A girl who does like you who you message a question is also less likely to meet up. It's a lose-lose.
1i) I want to clarify, I mean general questions. If you text her soemthing like "how are you" "what's up" "what did you do today" then you are ****. Full stop.
2) The best first texts are something funny from your interaction. A nickname you gave her is an easy one. Any shared experience works.
3) Failing that, a generic funny comment will work well. Anything unique or at least unique sounding is best.
4) Somewhere in that first text put your name, don't expect her to remember it.
5) If she doesn't reply, all g. First texts are just to give her your number, wait a week and text her again to try and set a meeting. If you get ignored again, big deal, fish in the sea.
6) If she does reply, you don't have to. Again, don't feel anxious to reply or like you have to wait at least as long as she did before you do. You should wait that long, hut you should relax and do it. Read her reply, then do other stuff until you feel like writing one. Don't be afraid to reply hours or even days late. The exception is if you're trying to meet up at the time.
7) Get to the meet up quick. Don't chit chat. Never ask generic rapport questions, they are time wasters and ***** dryers.
The general attitude you want while texting is "This girl loves me." Anything she says is her reinforcing that belief. No. Matter. What. If she replies, she wants you. You're not trying to get her attracted because she already loves you. Instead, you want to set a meet up fast so she can prove her love to you by making love to you.
