"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Today was my first day of school, everything went really well.

I made lots of new friends in my classes, talked to lots of people. Quite possibly one of the better school days.

Anyways, I got 2 # closes, and 1 rejection.

I'd like to focus on the rejection. This girl was a freshman who was in my biology class. Not only was she a freshman, but she was showing very good body language. Eye Contact, Smiling, Leg crossed towards me for the whole class (she chose her spot next to me, she was to my right). Then after class she is walking and I approach her. She was really unresponsive, wasn't very enthused with the whole conversation. I know I was pretty nervous my freshman year myself, but she had one hell of a ***** shield up.

She was walking pretty fast and seemed like she had to get somewhere in a rush. Do you guys think she was just a nervous/tired/anxious freshman that I could probably salvage and number close tommorow or at least within the next following days? Or shall I next her?

I would have figured freshman would be easy targets, might be more to it than that though.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Well not every body is going to be responsive. lol.

I never next a girl, unless she is real horrible.

Just chat her up a little more, but focus on some other chicks.

Good point, but ofcourse some people are more or less responsive based on their mood.

I will continue to pursue her, but definently won't focus all my attention on her.

Thanks for the info aisaac.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Ignore his comment, no girl that gave that kind of intial attention is after just popular guys. She was intially into you, you know damn well she was, the problem lied in where you approached her. Either she wasn't in the mood to talk, or after about 10 seconds of talking about the wrong thing the wrong way she shut you off.

Either way, give it a couple and then try small talk and try to get something established.

I did it out of class, as for the actual conversation, I don't remember what I said exactly.

I have learned 1 thing from this though, walking and picking up girls at the same time is a difficult task.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

nice job on the pickups. that alone can be difficult sometimes. there is a fine line, however, between a casual pick up guy and a hardcore pick up guy, aka player. players are not respected that much by girls, and i hope that's not the impression that you're conveying to these honeys. if, for example, this girl saw you approach the others that you talked to, she would naturally feel inclined to brush you off.
also, many freshman girls get the talks from their mommies about watching themselves around older guys (which is understandable, because my first instinct when i see a hot freshman is to man-handle her and bone her hard).

well anyway, what year are you? i'm a senior, so froshies are just about off limits.

but i would be happy to hear some of your methods on the pickups, because i have a situation i have to take care myself.
