First date with a woman in her 20s in 15 years.

I chat up and flirt with women in their 20s frequently, but this is the first one I've asked on in a very long time.

Spent 2 hours with her over dinner. The women is 29-yo HB8.5, tall (about 5’9”) blond, smart, ambitious. Great conversation, she shared some private things about herself (which is encouraging, especially since this indicated what her screening criteria for men.) good eye contact, some slight flirty moves but nothing obvious. Had an early day out of town trip, so went home early. She was very attentive when I spoke, and I could tell she was working to keep the conversation going. Kino was not rejected, but I didn’t get the normal reaction that I would have with women with higher interest, which included a couple of times when I played with her hair. She would be a great poker player I could not read her to save my life. Nice little friendly kiss on the lips… nothing special. My read on her was 50-60% interest.

Just as I was leaving she asks me out for next week... So here I am thinking I had a woman that was on the edge of interest then she goes and does that. I knew she was an Alpha female, so it didn’t surprise me, but I can’t believe I misread her so badly. I’m thinking I need more practice with younger women.

Either she is an exception to the rule, or this is how 20 something women behave. Thoughts? Always looking to improve my game until I die.

I'm 48, 6' 180lbs, I'm in decent shape with all my hair, but I look my age. She seemed surprised when I told her but didn't make a big deal about it. I'm definately out of my comfort zone we'll see how next week goes (going to a charity fund-raiser with her). Best just not play her any different than the women I usually date who are MUCH closer to my age.

Continue to do this! All the married guys I work with have wifes 10 years younger or more.
You say she's alpha woman so it sounds like she's a career girl? No kids never been married.

She's close to 30 so the wall is coming & hypergamy will be kicking in fast, if she's never been married?

Charity fund-raiser, she may not want to go alone or she's just hungry? Who knows, agreed don't play her any different.

I meet her in October at a party... she came up to me and talked me up, we hit it off pretty good, got her laughing and I could tell she was interested, but I really blew her off because she looked so young, and truth was I was after another women that I gave up on since she has a boyfriend. We met again at a chamber event a couple of weeks ago. She came up to me again and this time she was wearing a tight red dress to die for, so I got her number and made a date.

She's been married once before, lasted less than 2 years. She's been divorced, for little more than a year. So I'm breaking a couple of rules: (1) Don't date women born after my 18th birthday. (2) Don't date women unless they have been divorced for 2 years.

But hey... rules are made to be broken. Besides she's a freaking Viking goddess with an ass that won't quit. I've always been a sucker for a great backside.

Never be afraid of what you want. All these questions and doubts are all in your head, you don't need any more practice with younger women. You're a grown ass man and have a younger woman who approached you "twice" and asked for a second date. You handle it like the man you are and if she's game all is well. She's been more than generous with the green lights, make a move and if she pulls back then you may have to reevaluate. Given her age she's most likely in provider seeking mode. Just make sure you get what you want out of this, women her age can be quite the game players.

Went really well. Played this like I do with all women I date and everything panned out as expected. She's been sending me text messages for the last hour wanting to get together again this week. Interest level is over 90%. Will call her and tell her I'm busy the rest of this week. I'll make a date for late next week and see how that runs.... which is what I normally do. I don't want to spend too much time too early I want to keep this woman around for awhile.

What I've learned from this is:

(1) That all women, regardless of age, all respond to the same things.

(2) That acceptablity within her social group is critical. Her friends apparently delivered their seal of approval on me after spending time with them at the event.

(3) Cold hard business women transform into playful chicks when they are with men they really like who treat them like girls. Let them be girls when they are with you and they will love you for it.
