Figuring out what type of guy she's into?

How do you figure out what type of guy she's into, with the least amount of info possible? Its pretty easy to find the type she likes by examining her ex's, but what other ways can you figure it out? What signs will she show that say, "I like big muscular guys, I like the class clown, or I like the head of the football team"?

Two notable examples from my past...

1. Jock girl into muscle-head types. Banged. Said she's usually never into artsy types but I'm some kind of exception.

2. Artsy/hipster girl into hipster/indie guys. Banged. Said she's usually never into jock types but I'm some kind of exception.

See what happened? To the girl who's always banging jocks, she found me to be artsy by comparison. To the artsy girl, I was a jock by her usual standards.

Both girls had sex with me anyway because types don't mean **** when you got gameee, homie

Why are you trying to figure out what type of guys this girl is into? You are who you are. So you should only be worried about if she's into YOU.

And finding that out is easy. You talk to her. If she's warm and receptive, keep going - she might be into you. If she's cold and standoffish, she probably isn't.

No disrespect, of course - this is the type of question I would have asked when I was younger. But ultimately, there are too many girls in the world to waste your time doing all this research on one chick. By the time you determine that you're "her type," and that she's single, and the type of dates she likes to go on, and her humor, etc, etc, it's already too late.

So just go talk to the broad. Not even hitting on her. Just freakin talk to her. 5 minutes of conversation will give you more info than 5 weeks of thinking about it.

You've misunderstood my post. I'm not after any specific girl (well, I am but its not going to happen, and is irrelevant). When I say "she", and "her" I am speaking in general. I interested in the psychology behind it, hence the reason for wanting to figure out "her type". For example, I'm a pretty quiet guy and people have told me I'm pretty laid back - which I can't argue with - and the usual type of women that approach me, I've noticed are pretty introverted themselves. At least on the surface anyway. I guess what I really want to know is if opposites really do attract or does like beget like?

I could care less if I am, specifically, someone's type.
