"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

At approximately 8 pm, 5/18/05, one half blotter of LSD was taken orally.

I want to write about my experiences with Jenny, a girl who lives in my dorm. The first two times that I had seen Jenny, we held a comfortable eye contact as we walked past each other in opposite directions.

On our third encounter, I engaged her in conversation. I maintained a funny attitude and smiled a lot. It went very well. It was at this time that I had learned that she lived in a room just down the hall. Instead of asking for her number, I told her that I’d be seeing her around.

I talked to her again tonight. I can’t recall precisely what was said, but know that the basic elements were there. The small talk that we made was focused on her and what she was doing. I asked her if she’d like to hang out sometime and got the number. xxx-xxx-xxxx.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Alright Hunter,
What in the hell does a half dose of acid give you. Oh yeah, nothing. Not that I'm condoning drug use here. So she has a single room and you have the number. ****ing great. You gonna try to act like your freaking out like a fat samoan attorney later and pull a knife. Maybe a little white rabbit in the bathtub, I dont know. Yeah great seriously from the tone of your post you got nothing accomplished that led you anywhere without the courage of a drug you aren't actually experiencing. Hold off and try to **** her while she and you are sober than post about it.
