Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

i waz looking for a way of approaching women just for the sake of approaching them without any strings attached. i mean, just approach without having them think that im interested.

maybe i should have approached only the girlz with whom i was interested in but i thought that it was only practice so a girl is a girl. so i took off and did it.

im in the school paper and i 'volunteered' to distribute the most recent issue in the school grounds. knowing that it should be done face-to-face in my case, i thought it would be good practice. so here goes:

first group of girls i approached was around 5. i just came up. i said if they haven't gotten the school paper yet they should get it already. i was holding on to it. at first they had these very 'what-the?' looks but they turned out ok.

another group i approached was ok. they were very open and i didn't get shot down. i didn't ask for any of their numbers yet but i made a few friends after figuring out that it would be better to introduce myself first like, hi! im from blah blah...

there was this girl who was DEFINITELY and HB1 in my scale (just trust me on this one). thinking that she probably wasn't getting approached that often, i went for it and what happend was like this.

me: hi! im Alejandro and im from the <name of skul paper>.
her: <blank look>
me:you should get your copy. you paid for it already anyway. <with my best smile>
her: <looks at me from head to toe and rolls her eyez and walks away>
me: <to myself> oh wel, u paid for it already. ur loss.

then i approached one of the popular girls. an HB8.5-9

me: hey there! im from blah blah...
her: hey! wow. special delivery for me. <smile>
me: <smiled and turned around>
me: <now facing her again> hey, ur ??? right? so u ARE friendly. i see u have a nice smile.
her:<giggle>
me:my name's blah blah... <extending my hand for a handshake>
her:<shakes my hand>
me: uh... you can let go of my hand now. <naughty grin>

wel, i still working on my convo. i think i got something right.

i spotted one of the even more popular girlz walking alone so i went up to her.

me: hey! ur ??? right? i saw you dance last night.
her: yeah. you saw me??? OMG! i wasn't aware someone was looking.
me:wel, actually my friend was beside you. <grin>
her:OMG! that was embarassing... blah blah....
me:dont worry. i forgive you. <grin>
her: <blush>
me: SO, u ate chicken for lunch. ( i could smell chicken from her breath)

i approached a few other girlz that day after i closed with the last one. they were the below average girlz tho. i got shot down a few more times.

im noticing a trend here. the more popular girlz are more approachable than those who aren't. i guess they juz have to keep up their reputation of being friendly as a result of being popular. i could be wrong tho.

after distributing about 100 at least, i can say that being ignored and bashed wasn't really THAT bad. im a little more immune nowadays.

please help me with my convos. any comments?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Your conversations went well! Light and brief, but definitely displaying your confidence and openness. The one who shot you down must have been one helluva b1tch so don't worry about it. Just keep it up and try finding more situations exactly like this.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Good job man, approaching is probably the hardest step on the journey of the PUA and is probably one of the hardest.

Me and my buddy went to the mall yesterday and had a similar experience. I got a whole bunch of positive results (YES!), had pic taken, and a few negative results. lol, my friend went up to a group of 5 pretty good looking chicks and told one I wanted her number. I wanted to crash and burn so I went up and said "well?". hahaha. My friend was a bastard and walked away right when I came. It was me vs. 5 chicks who were ballsy because of the me-to-them ratio . Results weren't pretty, but it was worth a laff later. (My friend didn't even help in any way - said he had a girlfriend so he wouldn't approach. not going with him again :p).

Anyway, I think you shoulda joked around with the whole newspaper thing. This kinda thing = fun times if you play it right. Like for example, tell a chick theres a really embarassing picture of her in the newspaper, but refuse to give her the newspaper. Give it to her on your own terms and she'll look frantically through it while you laff. :D

Why is it IRL the UG's are the easy to talk to, but in FR they're the ones that reject you? And vice versa with the HB's, lol.

ANyways sounds like you did pretty good in your conversation, but you could switch to rapport as it involves opened ended questions and brings out her feelings better. I liked the one where you didn't show interest with her (thorugh your body) until she responded positvely. TD was talking about doing that...
