"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I went for an impromptu night out with a pal last night. Went to my normal pulling ground but after a big meal which didn't help.

We sat down and opened a 3 set using the "Who lies most?" opener. It worked a treat. I added on some other openers so we ended up with a conversation going on, which was cool.

I don't have any DHV material at the moment so I just went into usual conversational mode (AFC?).

It all went quite well except for the fact that they were leaving the club 15 mins later. So they went.

Two old dogs sat down on the seats nearby and so for the practice I used the same opener. But their reaction was so different. The lady I spoke to was giving just about 1 word answers and just seemed very unfriendly and almost hostile. My friend was flogging a dead horse by continuing the conversation with his girl.

I've used the "Who lies most" opener 4 times now and it worked 3 times very well. But what do you do when you encounter someone who is just plain unfriendly? I just don't know what to say or do in those circumstances.

What do you suggest? Any good things to say? It's just like you need to save face.

Thanks,

The Daddy

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

"old dogs"=English slang for two older women who weren't that attractive.

Sure, move on. But what do you say? There has to come a point in the conversation where you think you haven't broken through. So you gotta give it a chance. So if they are reluctant in the first instance, I'm seeking advice on what I can say.

e.g. "You don't seem very chatty."

call them out on it and move on. If the ho (i'm starting to like that word) is being a ***** say: "well arn't we crabby today, what crawld up your azz" and then turn around and walk away (even if she makes a comment, don't bother answering.). Chances are she will find you by the end of the nite trying to prove her self.....(unless they are old dogs, in which case RUNNNN!!!!!)

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

It would have been difficult using such a line in my circumstances. we were both hemmed in due to the seating arrangement. And again, it doesn't do anything to break down defences.

I was just shocked when it happened, but I intend to come out of it a better player by finding a solution or come back.
