"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I'm recently engaged to the most honest, thoughtful, and loving man I've ever met. He has supported me through many hard times, including losing my job and being assaulted. Here's the but about him: He makes no money. He has ambitions, and he's smart, but will likely only bring a middle-class income at best. I have an OK job and I'm self-sufficient. Now here's the but about me: I'm really, really pretty. My whole life people have told me I could get any man I want, meaning a rich man, and are shocked that I'm engaged to my fiancé, nice though he is. I’ve never dated a rich man, but it does make me curious. So part of me thinks I'm squandering my good looks on this poor man, and the other part of me thinks that I'm so shallow that I don't even deserve him or anyone else. Am I a fool for thinking that a poor man can make me happy, or an idiot for believing a sexist fantasy?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

He needs to dump this chick. I don't care what she looks like. She's got an "Ok job" and yet she's complaining about him? There was a girl who helped Tommy Lee of Motley Crue when the band was starting out. She used to throw him a little cash, buy groceries, that sort of thing. Eventually she said, "You're not making a living, why don't you get a real job." Women either believe in their men or they don't. If they don't, they get kicked to the curb. If they do, they're a keeper.

We can all sleep well at night knowing that shallow gold-digging women rarely have a happy ending in life. Their best years are their 20's and 30's. Most of them are miserable in old age.. except for those who managed to successfully steal a man's wealth via divorce.

Every attractive woman you see will be a wrinkled hag one day. One luxury nature gave to men and denied women is the gift of TIME. Too many men forget this and flush their money and lives away trying to hang on to a woman who will eventually wilt like a dead flower over time.

Most men forget that women lose their charm as fast as they lose their beauty. So that girl you're in love with won't have the same personality when she is 45 or 55. Idiots don't think ahead. All women have an expiration date.

Maybe he should just put it in her butt. She'd like him then.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
