In 2026 we are still bound by our hard wired desires to either lust after beautiful women or go to extreme lengths to try and sleep with them

I'm hoping age may enlighten me further but I'm mid 30's now and I look at men both younger and older and there seems to be very little divergence from this trope

Every straight man likes beautiful women, not doubt about that. But I don't think most would "go to extreme lengths" to sleep with them. Some would but certainly not most.

Well the p*rn and sex work industries are worth about Half a trillion dollars and the majority of that is propped up by men paying for it so I would argue that in itself is an extreme length lol

Being driven primarily by visceral urges is what comes naturally to us, living consciously doesn't... That most people chose the former route is LESS surprising than discovering that Hezbollah's sins extend far beyond the occasional embassy bombing

I think we are talking about different things. I was thinking more along the lines of extreme and violent completion with other men, or coercion and rape. Most modern men would not resort to that.

Except in today's day and age, the relevant comparison is not to the unevolved animal kingdom, but rather to other intelligent species in the universe. ET's don't have groveling males. They're likely laughing at our silly asses dancing around like monkeys, wasting time and what not..

But maybe the female imperative trumps our species' advancement, huh?
