Master Don Juan
You're thinking like an AFC when you say "a relationship that starts with sex won't last". That is the complete opposite of the truth.
we have a winner!
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I am sorry but I have enough respect for myself who NOT sleep with any man that makes me his girlfriend....
Do you know the difference between lust and love??!?!?!?!?
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
That's only true if her body fat percentage is high. Since she rides motorcycles there's a good chance she's got more muscle.Originally posted by Rollo Tomassi
And BTW, this is not meant to be a flame, but 125lbs. is pushing maximum density at 5'1".
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.

You have a mental problem. Why are you going to dump a guy that had to go to a wake on the weekend?Originally posted by XtremeRacingDiva
Here's an update...
I talked to him on Friday and asked him what his weekend is going to be like...
He says he's going to be going to a wake on Friday and 2 funerals on Saturday....
*edit* I also asked him if he needed me to come and support him... uhh he said NOPE..being the good girlfriend that I am I just said ok...
The whole weekend I didnt received one call from him at all.....I called him this morning and asked him to meet me for dinner because I have something important to tell him and for him to bring all my spare keys...Also that I was pissed off due to the fact that I was locked out of my apartment because I lost all my keys because they fell out my pocket while riding my bike...
And the only dumba$$ with a spare was him but luckily he didnt pick up his damn phone when I called him. Seeing that I had to go stay at a friends house untill I got a hold of him.![]()
And actually never did get a hold of him some of my buddies came over and climbed through my window.

You have a mental problem. Why are you going to dump a guy that had to go to a wake on the weekend?
You are blaming this guy for your own negligence. You only have yourself to blame for getting locked out of your house.
You are nothing but a selfish little hoe that is only good for one thing.
The reason this guy isn't interested in you is your own damn fault.
I wouldn't be interested in you either.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Kevin, are you sure that you've read her other posts? Everything that you've accused her of doing, he has done to her on a regular basis.Originally posted by 00Kevin

Give that man a cakeI may be off base in my assumption, but it seems that much of the "advice" that is given in this forum is not necessarily for the benefit of the person requesting information. More times than not, the advice is based upon reactionary feelings of the people replying based upon unresolved issues that are similar to the resistor's. Many times we respond without understanding the situation, especially when it's a woman asking for help. It may be because of a sense of male solidarity, comradely or whatever you want to call it, but as long as we have an 'US vs. THEM' attitude, we limit our own effectiveness. The purpose of this board is guys to gain insight on how to understand women by gaining a better understanding of ourselves and our capabilities. Yes, a woman looking for advice is not the purpose of Sosuave however, their problems with men actually point out the areas where we as men can adjust to gain control of ourselves and possibly become more attractive to women. Shooting down anything that seems negative serves no purpose other than protecting our egos. If we feel that we still need to protect our egos, have we actually learned anything about ourselves? Just something to consider....
welll... no I didn't read your posts all that much. Now that I have.. I'll take back everything but one part.Originally posted by XtremeRacingDiva
lol so harsh ... tsk tsk.. and BTW does it make you feel better to call others names???Can we all be adults here?
If you had actually read the post you would of figured out that.. that one weekend was not the problem..it was every weekend he came up with some new excuse.
Blaming him for getting locked out LOL I blame him for not being a boyfriend. For guys with girlfriends during the weekend how many times do you call your girlfriend to check if she is still alive? once ...twice...
LOOK I am not trying to spend 24/7 with him but it would be nice to hear from him every once in a while. Seeing that I gave him the spare key for a reason... I thought he would be a real boyfriend and be there for me...
Selfish yes... hoe ..no because he surely didnt get any booty....
but updating the situation seeing as I had the dinner date with him... Yes I suggested that we go back to being friends only..... yeah he put up a fight about it... but I made it very clear to him that when he starts acting like a boyfriend then he can get the position back. Otherwise dont waste his time and mines. Yeah I may seem a little snobbish but I gave him 2 months and yet he fail to do so.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
