"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Well here is what happened.

I went to my typical hangout bar to watch the Kentucky Derby. I am a big fan of Horse racing and of Bob Baffert so I am excited that Justify won.

So I order my usual drink and watch the Derby coverage. As the place gets more populated, two girls came in and ordered drinks. One was in a sexy red out fit (Girl B) and the other (Girl A) was in a black shirt and black slacks. I thought Girl A was particularly cute. They walked over and started playing darts and a few minutes later I wandered over. a group of guys started introducing themselves then they introduced themselves to me giving me an appearance of being with them. I introduced myself to Girl A then Girl B introduced herself to me. B asked where I was from originally and I answered. Girl A pulled down the shoulder of her shirt exposing her shoulder as she stood by one of the guys. B talked about how A does not like going out with her as she always embarrasses her and they laughed then when asked where she was from she said Ohio. B showed a picture of her dog on her phone. I asked if it was a golden retriever and she said it was a beagle. She then showed a picture of a tattoo on her ankle (of a paw print) and then showed me the actual tattoo, then showed another picture of the dog. Next a song came on and Girl a liked it, so they both went to the middle of the room and started dancing to it. As B was conversing with one of the guy I asked A where she was from and she said she was from this town.

Post time was approaching, so I wandered over to the monitor to watch. Toward the end, as Justify was in the lead but another horse started gaining on him, I broke into my typical racing fan behavior screaming "go, go, go, go" at the top of my lungs and creating a spectacle of myself. The girls were not in the same room so this is more of a side note. After Justify crossed the finish line I began jumping up and do Creaming "yeah, yeah, yeah."

I approached the girls conversing with each other, having already decided I was going to leave and then told them it was nice to meet them. I asked A for her number and she said "uhh" then B spoke up and said "I have a boyfriend and so does she." I said "well nice to meet you and left.

While I was more interested in A, it seemed B had the greater interest in me. Anyway, I am all ears.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You talked to two women and then asked girl for her number. Got an excuse or the truth, neither matter because it doesn’t matter.

Now this is where positive reflection takes place...

Do YOU think you could have created a better connection to possibly gotten her digits?
Do YOU think you could have done better overall as an individual in how you conducted yourself?

I’m assuming yes to both of those because you posted this story.

I dont know what you are asking for...this seems like a routine interaction where nothing of note happened. Not surprisingly they weren't receptive to the number ask.

No big deal, you made an attempt which is far better than many do, but you didnt really do anything that would make them want to give you their number either. It seemed completely non descript.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

We weren’t there though. You know the emotion of it. We just know the facts of what you stated. And there’s not much to this story out of the norm. You have to look at where you could have used more swag and made her feel more than you did in that moment. Learn from it all!

There wasn't much play going on there at all. Ya probably shouldn't have asked for the digits. On a positive note you had the balls to ask.

Could you have made a better connection and built more comfort? The gist I get is things were a little light on dialogue and this didn't happen. It doesn't seem to me like you led the interaction or came across intriguing. Not much here to flip her emotional triggers. The fact that they showed you pictures was a good sign, but if you weren't able to build a connection and get a number then it was probably due to you not generating enough interest. If they didn't find you physically attractive enough they'd of blown you out from the start and not shared the pics.

You could have used the dog pic as a springboard into a conversation about dogs. People are pretty passionate about their dogs and a conversation around this topic could have helped illicit some emotion. Emotions are the vehicles used in making connections.

I suspect their story about having boyfriends was a lie.

I often hear of emotional triggers. Is there a way to find these?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
