"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

i dont know why but ever since i was a little kid i have been always scared to call someone on the phone.

When I was growing up my friends always use to call me to go hang out or goto there houses. Then i moved in 7th grade and i havent much contact with anybody outside of school since, i have been doing better getting peoples #'s, but i feel so desperate and stupid calling people..

Anytips to help me overcome this

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

act like she doesnt know you and hang up?

if you wanna talk to her call her, you will be able to tell in her voice if she wants to keep talking.

yeah.. i kinda have the same problem

What you do is:

1)Stop using MSN, AIM, or anythign like that (this'll probably make u desperate to talk - so you must revert to the phone lol)

2)Start talking to your friends on the phone that are boys to get you started

3)Call some close friends that are girls, that uve known for a long time

4)Call the ones you like

since i've been a kid, i've stuttered like an idiot. Along with that came a pretty strong fear of calling people.

Over the years, i've pretty much gotten over it. I think what helped alot was getting people to call me, and just getting comfortable with it.

It may sound crazy to some people, but its a real fear.

Now I'm 23, i still stutter once in a while when i'm very tired or something, but its barely noticable, and I just took the attitude of what the hell i'm going to call anybody, so I call all kinds of girls and my phone is loaded with contacts.

Its weird, i can call girls, the only time i get nervous to call is when i have to call to setup a doctor appointment or the mechanic.

Yep, i'm a weirdo as well, but its ok i suppose, i still get laid.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

in my opinion, people are afraid to talk on the phone cause its one on one, and their nervous about that. if you just get used to talking one on one in person, the phone should be no problem. But to get good at that, you need to work up your confidence . so the root of the issue, i think, is a lack of confidence
