She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Agreed. I'm 5'11" and I've come to love that same exact height bracket. Plus, curvy petit women tend to be ridiculously fun in bed.GS750 said:I'm 6'0". I like them around 5'-5'4". I am not into tall women at all...not sure why.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
I'm 5'7. My most recent ex was in the 5'8 - 5'9 range and loved wearing heels. The height difference isn't noticeable to other people if you carry yourself confidently. The biggest issue with height differences is generally the dude involved. If he feels insecure about it, it's gonna show. I tend to like shorter chicks because of my height, but I do have a thing for long legs... so I don't rule-out tall drinks o' water.drummerdude27 said:Anyone ever date a girl slightly taller than them? Just curious. I am 5'7 and this girl I am kinda seeing is 5'8. Different than all the girls ive ever dated but shes a pretty gal.
The girl in the picture is not curvy she is a bit anorexic in my perceptionI like em tiny. Im 5'8-5"9 and I like 5'4 or less. Small petite thin. I dont really like curves. I like em built for speed and stealth. Even chicks under 5 feet turn me on. My Monday night bartender that I have been working on is barley 5 feet tall and she is soooo hot.

Ok curves are cool sometimes.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
What do you think? just curiousAtom Smasher said:I generally prefer 5'6 and under, in keeping with my love of the contrast of femininity. I'm a little over 5'11.5" myself.
Interestingly, I've always noticed that women who are taller than me seem to find me attractive. I've had a couple of short flings with girls who were actually a good 2 inches taller than me. I haven't figured out why tall women seem to smile at me in an inviting way. And it may not be a good reason... I just have no idea but the tendency is certainly there.
Oh, and by the way, OP, you're banned.
lol... correctLast of the Alphas said:You would never pull out of that girl, and you know it.
She's pretty hot.. Maybe I like petite women but... She looks great.PeasantPlayer said:The girl in the picture is not curvy she is a bit anorexic in my perception
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
