Yes, the mirroring is over the top with these women. Gas lighting is really high also. Mine actually introduced the term Soul Mate early on.

i've been following the thread, and others have mentioned the same, but deesades post really drove that home for me. wow, how scary.

My ex MIL is BPD and she modeled that behavior to her daughter. There was a time I thought they were 'normal' and I just needed to figure out how they needed me to communicate with them so they would understand/hear me. They were tumultuous and vindictive with me the entire time i was married....really got in the middle of my relationship. Kept making my ex choose between them and me. It didn't start out that way. They were very nice, and welcoming, almost embracing, for a year or two. His sister always wanted a sister.....

Then the nastiness started. I couldn't say a sentence without offending them, and offending them unleashed two very ugly human beings.

I still shudder to think about it.

Yes, they eventually make apparent exactly what they are.
The truth always surfaces.

The best way to look at it is that they show who you are.

As do women in general, actually. But these types really especially bring out your weaknesses.

Yes, they appeal to men that need to hear and experience their b.s.
I did once.
It's mostly a low self perception issue as I see it.
