This isn't me, but it's for someone I know who wants to lose and keep their weight in check. Is there anyone here with Type 1 Diabetes that has successfully lost weight?

For those who don't know, Type 1 Diabetes is a royal bytch to deal with. You need a certain amount of carbs, and you need to balance it with insulin shots to prevent your blood sugar from going too high or too low, or you'll fvcking die. How in the hell does one lose weight with Type 1 diabetes when they have to take in carbs regularly?

This is serious stuff @Desdinova and requires a proper serious answer from a dedicated diabetes doctor.
