It is not over. I have been working with mainly bad options for my entire life in the mating marketplace and I have managed to put up a notch count higher than most men. That's also been done at a height of 5'10". 5'10" is an about average height in reality but female perception of 5'10" is not very good.

Certainly for the time that the volleyball games are going on, a Chad should avail himself of it. And when between games, it's certainly better being there than at a regular bar.

And it is a key point that a PUA must be tall there, even moreso than at a regular bar. Being a short volleyball player is MogH3ll.

There was a period of time in the 2010s where I was playing recreational sand volleyball, both in organized co-ed leagues and for random pickup games. I was doing this as a 5'10" man.

Let's start this by thinking about the target female market at a sand volleyball facility or the beach.

Most women who are playing volleyball as adults played volleyball in either high school or college. Who tends to play volleyball in either high school or college? Taller women, typically 5'7" and up. 5'7" and 5'8" women are considered shorter for volleyball. The best volleyball playing women are 5'8"-6'3". While ex-high school volleyball players can be a little shorter (maybe 5'8"), it's almost impossible to see an ex-college volleyball player under 5'10". Women 5'7" and under are not all that inclined to randomly play volleyball as adults.

While playing, I might have had a chance with the 5'8"-5'10" women at volleyball, but the 5'11"+ women were very unlikely to consider me worthy of their time. While I enjoy volleyball, there are other activities I enjoy more. I eventually realized that volleyball wasn't my best use of time for attracting-seducing. The typical 5'11"-6'3" woman playing volleyball has essentially no interest in a man who is shorter than they are, unless he's extremely wealthy. Even being the same height as 5'11" or 6'0" volleyball player isn't that exciting to them, but may be passable.

As for my volleyball skills, they were decent. I was great at serving. I rarely ever missed serves because of my background in tennis. The rest of my volleyball game was adequate.

The only reasons I was dabbling in volleyball is because of my experiences trying to attract-seduce in tennis.

Lifetime, tennis is the sport I've spent time the most time playing. This is my best sport and a sport where I have the greatest chance of demonstrating higher value (DHV). DHV is a fundamental of attraction-seduction. I started playing tennis prior to puberty and having interest in women. One would think I would be well positioned to succeed at seducing from tennis.

However, tennis is not a good way to meet women under 35 and would not be considered the fastest way to get laid, even for good tennis players.

The most serious recreational players are males. Despite its reputation as a female friendly sport, it really isn't in the most desirable age brackets.

Here's an experiment you can run for free.

Go to your public tennis courts and observe the players. You'll notice its a sausage fest. You will not see a lot of younger women playing singles matches against each other. When women are playing tennis, it is usually with a man such as a boyfriend, husband, brother, cousin, or any other male. Typically, it is a boyfriend.

While I have gotten dates from playing tennis, the number of dates I've gotten and the outcomes of these dates would not be a justification to play tennis.

Private, country or racquet clubs have better ratios than the public courts. However, at private clubs, it is mostly women 35+ with children. Some of these women are divorcees. The highest probability girlfriend most men can get at a private club is a 35-50 year old divorcee with children. Even still, the middle aged women typically at country and racquet clubs playing tennis are far more likely to be married than divorced. It might be possible for a man to get to sex fast with a married woman playing tennis who is unhappy in her marriage.

He was a writer for a magazine, I think it was Rolling Stone. But he was frustrated that even with meeting famous people and everything, he was unable to even talk to attractive women if he didn't have to interview them.

He was getting in his own way, which is a fairly common thing. I think a lot of guys do this, and when they discover PUA it gives them the belief that they have a secret that will work for them. I've always thought it isn't so much the method, but the belief they have that it will work.

Placebo effect is ironically more powerful than actual drugs in some cases. Having the confidence something will work and displaying such in your outward actions can be the creation of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Likewise, convincing yourself that something is hopeless prior will often lead you down a path that confirms that it actually was.

It could be argued that much of the PUA industry is closer to being a men's confidence building group than it is a female psychology manipulating group.
