"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

ok, heres the problem

I have this cousin, shes 20 and looks very very good

shes my first cousin and I've known her forever. keep in mind that I'm an absolutely normal induvidual with a sane mind

well, i dont know if shes like that to everybody but she goes crazy when she sees me

I mean a family hug and a little kiss on the cheek isnt bad at all but she takes it waaaay too far

she keeps on holding to me during hugs, feeling my body and gives me multiple kisses on my neck and stuff like that

I feel really really akward but doint wanna say anything, or maybe I should

anyways, what should I do?? I know its not normal but I feel realy akward

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Sleep with her...

Have kids with 11 toes...

Move to Bulgaria where they tolerate these things.

:D

Ok, my cousin is also like that. There's this thing about being family, that's like being in a deep gay-friend zone. :) To her, you're prolly the biggest AFC in the world - cause you're family.

Hard to explain. But imagine how chicks work kino on gay men friends. I'm sure you've seen it in a movie. She feels she can do anything around you, because you won't do anything back, because you're family.

Eish... I confused myself now.

just dont get a hard-on whilke getting one of her hugs..... =P

nah but for real, if u feel that ackward , so bad that u cant stand it , just tell her to ease up a litle bit, then shell will prolly not speak to you for a couple of months...

so you have to chose , long ackward hugs or not having the same rlt with your cousin and not speaking to her in a loong while.....

Its probably not a good idea to bang your cousin so just go watch some porn.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Dude! That's weird. She should know it! Give her an uneasy smile next time.
