"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ok I read about Eye contact, but it doesn't answer my question, per se.

My good friend and I went out to dinner (including her roomate). I am attract to my friend, and already asked her out once (but was declined.... But meh, there are other women...). I found out, VIA roomate, that she declined me because she was "talking" to another guy. Well, at dinner, we made direct, and sustained eyecontact for abnormal periods of time (I am usually around this girl 1-3 hours a day because of college).

Today, we were studying for our exam and the eye contact came back. We were just shooting the bull on something (I think it was food actually...) and her eyes were GLUED to my eyes... She has never done this before dinner the previous night.

My question is... is the EC: friend EC or is it "trying to show attraction" EC?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Find out if she is still "talking to this other guy." If things didn't work out, she may be going to you as a back up it would seem. I don't know how you feel about that, but it is a possibility you should be aware of. Next time you catch her looking at you for a long time break out the ****y+funny on her, bust her on it.

Such as:

"Not that I don't love staring contests, I just want to know when you want to stop trying to stare me down?"

Of course feel free to bust out your own C+F since you know this girl better than I, obiviously. Oh, and make her play the chasing game since she denied you the first time, make her work a little for it, just to keep her honest.

sometime eye contact is just normal eye contact , if u were staring in each others eyes without saying a word for a long enough time then i would asume she shows some affection but other then that its normally just a normal thing when ur with someone else....

The thing is, I am always "****y and funny" with her... thats normally when the staring happens. I "pick on her" playfully. Like I always say she is sooo mean to me and stuff like that (all in a playful manner, and she plays back).
