"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

This is my first post... and In 2 days have nearly memorized all the DJ's Bible... This is a fantastic site and I thank u all for contributing with ur experience for all the AFCs that come here 4 a visit (including me, lol).

I now know that EC is realy important, and I meditated a bit and thought what if u have EC and have nice eyes, it surely would gain more interest from the girl ur aiming at.

I now want to ask... surely some of u know about cosmetic contact lenses... do u think they could be usefull or just a waist of time and money?

I'm Italian, so I bet I can afford some English mistakes. :p

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It doesnt really matter what color your eyes are for effective EC. The way you hold eye contact and your facial expressions are more important.

Yea, some girls like guys with blue eyes but others like brown or green eyes. In conclusion, your eye color is really a moot point when it comes to making successfull eye contact with a girl. Its all about showing confidence and interest.

>> Lieing??? Suck at spelling anyone?? Anyway, yeah I know , I sometimes do accidentally mix in Spanish with Italian when I speak it. Call it Spitalian. ;-) That's because I had 4 yrs of Spanish in h.s., and at the same time I grew up hearing (and speaking) our family's regional "dialect". Which is a rough kind of dialect, directly derived (so I've learned through my copious amounts of Internet research into such peculiar topics) from what was called in ancient times "barracks" or "camp" Latin, as spoken by the Italic soldiers of the Roman Legions. But what I was writing to ItalianoPuro in is/was as close as I could get to "proper" school-sounding Italian. I'm not sure what region he's from, so if I just start saying things to him in our regional dialect, he may well not understand me at all see, especially if he's from "the North". ~D

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Please don't fuc-k with those fake contacts, they look fake as shi-t man.... especially the blue ones. I was talking to some girls about this and they said they can see right through the things and they are way too bright in most cases to be realistic looking. PLUS, won't you feel like a loser idiot after the girl finally figures out your eyes are not that color? Talk about showing your high self-esteem

Of course women are going to wear them. It's right up there with face-lifts, botox treatments, lip implants, breast implants, liposuction, and nose surgery. Remember the double standard though.... just because they do it doesn't mean they like it when other people do it. I'm not going to completely change my mind about a woman just because she changes her eye color, but it certainly doesn't help with my image of her, as far as her personality/confidence is concerned.

Hazel?? See mine are hazel, by nature. But I've always thought that's not that great of a color, that I'd be better off with something like really dark brown maybe, either that or really light pale blue or something (although those would have to be fake because nobody in my family line has blue eyes like that). Anyway, goes to show you, the grass is always greener......

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hey Guys :p

and CIAO DINO :D, nice to meet an italian :p

and sorry guys for cosmetic lenses I meant lenses that deepen ur look, or make it look better in any way... not necessary a color change... I know some are not very good but others quite good I know... they usually use them in photography when enfasizing on the eyes.

And well.. I don't feel insecure anymore... and I was only thinking about the "peacock rule", make ur looks emerge from the crowd.

But if u don't see the point in it, I'll just won't waist my time in it...

thx to u all DJ... ur da' best! :D

actually, your spelling is really poor, no offense:D

anyway, you're not writing in a dialect, that is just plain italian with some mistakes, not a regional dialect.

how old were you when you moved to the states?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

>> summer of '81. So, almost 6 yrs old. I never learned properly how to write well , express myself well in writing, in Italiano. Actually, "sto imparando adesso," (make sense???) or I'm trying at least; taking a night class one night a week in basic Ital.grammar and writing, etc. As I said, as far as speaking however, we speak , my family & I that is, we speak the local Abruzzo/Molise dialect from the town , Pizzone, where I was born. And when I do , especially after 4 yrs here in American high school with Spanish as my "foreign language" (and now that I work with mostly Hispanic American guys) I start lately to mix in too much Spanish (or "Mexican" actually) with Italian as well. Sorry, hopefully the writing was able to at least get the basic point across. ~Dino
