Eye contact and a nasty habbit.

I have no problem looking into a girls eyes during conversation.No problem at all. The problem is every time I do, I start nodding my head at everything she says. I've noticed it during conversation. I've also noticed when I look a girl in her eyes, I have a hard time paying attention to what she is saying. Kinda feels like I'm getting caught in the "sharing a moment" thing and don't pay enough attention to what she says. Is this a big deal, or something I should just brush off?

I have this problem too, but it's not just with girls. Whenever I look in a persons eyes, I totally am not listening to what they are saying because I am so concentrated on looking in their eyes. If I don't keep eye contact, I can follow along fine. Very weird.

You can draw a pair of eyes on your eye lids, like Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carribean. That way you are not starring at her yet she thinks you are.

Try looking at foreheads while talking to strangers, it works even when police interrogate you, they'll think you looking at their eyes (anti-lie-detector). Then look into eyes once in a while till you comfortable with it...
